“Great food, excellent service, great salsa bar, hot/spicy scale unclear”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2010

Honeymooners in Sedona! Decided to drive to Flagstaff for activites and to visit Salsa Brava. Great food, great service, friendly service, very large portions, great salsa bar, excellent pineapple/jalepeno salsa! My husband asked for mild sauce on food but it was not mild ( nI like hot spicy food and it was hot). Server told us it was deemed mild but since the pepper is " in season", it is hotter...would have neen nice to know that before he ate it. Otherwise, still a great restaurant with great food, great service, and great prices!

“Diners Drive in and Dives -DISSAPOINTED”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2010

Three couples dined, Sangrias were terrible and sent back, not at all sweet and too sour with ecxess lime. Two patrons who are NOT fans of spicy food were assured that the sauce on their dinners was MILD- It WASN't! I enjoyed the salsa bar and my pork filled flatbread was good. The gordita was large and good but not exceptional. The guacamole was only fair.Out of 6 people only half were pleased. Sour cream should not be an extra $1.50 for a burrito. The staff suggested calming down the spicy sauce with sour cream and did remove the extra charge for it from the bill.

“Great Pulled Pork Sopapilla!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2010

Had the sopapilla as featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives and loved it. It is not on the menu, but ask about the triple D sopapilla and they will have it.

“Salsa bar awesome! Carnitas excellent.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2010

Really loved the salsa bar--there were at least six varieties to choose from that ranged from mild to pretty hot. The habanero / pineapple was great!

“Very good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2010

Being italian I have no idea if Salsa Brava is a real Mexican restaurant or else, but I do know that the staff was welcoming and very hospital, that the salsa bar is very good and that the food was very tasty and the serving were very large.
Recommended.
