“"Good food/ neat salsa bar."”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014

Had dinner here on Sunday night of spring break. Our wait was around 10 minutes and service was good. We ordered the carnitas and the green chili burrito . Both were very good and had enough left over to eat leftovers one night during the week. Had a huge salsa bar with varying flavors and temperatures. Chips, however, were not very good. The margaritas were huge and looked very good, we didn't order one but wished we had. I think there special was blueberry margarita that night. Ate at Taos in Sedona a few nights later and prefer this any time.

“Don't be misled”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014

We stopped here for lunch on a short trip to Flag from our home an hour away. We'd never been in there and based it on a drive by that showed a lot of folks in the parking lot.

What we got was excellent. The meals came with the obligatory rice and beans. The comparison stopped there. The rice was a mix of rice, chicken stock, minced garlic, maybe cilantro? that really was good. The refried beans were spiced up to make them appealing and different.

I had tacos al carbon. This probably wasn't the most adventurous I could go but its lunch eh? The tacos were fabulous. the Meat was chunked not burger, there were plenty of onions, cilantro, corn and other vegetables to make a delightful meal.

Our waiter was friendly, explained the meals and their contents. I watched other patrons and their servers. They seemed to be getting the same service.

Bathrooms, tables, service ware, were all very clean. Overall, the place was a very pleasant place to eat.

When I sat down to write this I was surprised at some of the ratings that were low. This is a very good restaurant. The salsa bar was clean, fresh and provided a range of salsa from mild to very hot. If you couldn't find one you liked they would give you more bowls to mix and match.

Food portions were very good, flavors were excellent. Give it a try. We're going back for sure

“Yummy!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2014

Very fresh food. It was fun to try all the salsas, although even the hot wasn't too hot by Texas standards. My husband had the Navajo Taco since he wanted to eat "What Guy Ate" - it was huge. The homemade guacamole was perfect and the sopapillas made of fry bread were fantastic.

“just OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2014

We decided to give this restaurant a try after seeing it on the food network show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. It was just OK. The salsa bar was cool since we got to get our on salsa and mix and match different flavors. The food was pretty generic as far as Mexican food goes. I was expecting to be wowed and I wasn't.
