“Great! We ate here twice.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

It's a cut above, in quality and variety, the usual Tex-Mex we have here in Atlanta so we really enjoyed it. Varied menu, excellent salsas, excellent margaritas. We had the same server both nights (Eric?) and he was great. He remembered us from our previous visit and both times was friendly and efficient.

“Heaven and Earth Together”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

Fantastic serve your self Salsa bar with about 8 different choices all spelled out for type and heat. I couldn't stop going back for 2nds, 3rd, 4ths, 5ths all washed down with great house margaritas.

The waitress was attentive and helpful, but the lines out the door are longish in the eve rush..Worth it to go back even again on the same vaction it was so unique for its service and character

“Great margaritas :)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

I ate here with two friends on a road trip. Our waitress was really good - one of the members of my party doesn't eat much Mexican and the waitress was patient and thorough in explaining the menu and helping my friend pick something suitable. They have a salsa bar with 7 kinds of fresh, homemade salsa ranging from mild to HOT. We tried four different kinds and they were all very good. We had guacamole made fresh tableside (I am a sucker for that!) that was excellent. The food was good, the margaritas were great, and it was good value. Typical Mexican restaurant atmosphere. We'd go again!

“Best meal of our AZ vacation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Dinner here August 19.
Eat here if you like terrific southwestern food! Best meal we had during 7-day AZ vacation! Wish this restaurant had a location in our home town—we would eat there several times a week. This restaurant is now our new benchmark for outstanding Mexican/Southwestern dishes. We selected Salsa Brava because it was featured on Triple D [Food Network]. One review on TripAdvisor.com mentioned a smoked chicken dish, so I looked for one on the menu. My wife and I shared a Navajo Taco plate—it was huge—plenty for the both of us. We picked the smoked chicken for the meat filling selection—WOW! We have never had a better Mexican/Southwestern dish! The smoked chicken was the key. Our server [Dutch] was superb! He provided very good insight into the various menu selections and made excellent recommendations. His best recommendation was the Key Lime pie—the best we have ever had, which is especially noteworthy since we are Key Lime pie aficionados.

“Great dinner!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

We were a group of 6 adults and 2 college students. Always fun when a Mexican restaurant has a salsa bar so you can try different types of salsa and levels of heat. Really delicious food, large portions, and great drinks. The waitress was especially attentive to the two vegans in our group, and went so far as to initiate bringing out someone from the kitchen to clarify their preparation methods. We were all impressed that the waitress and kitchen staff wanted the vegan customers to be absolutely happy and comfortable. Not sure why this restaurant made Guy Fieri's show -- it is not a dive, a drive-in, or a diner, but it was really good!
