“Brewing Good Suppers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

Beaver Street Brewery was a great place to stop - we got the tip from the Western USA Lonely Planet guidebook. A warm and welcoming atmosphere and tasty home made pizzas in a funky tavern that looks rather unasuming from the outside.

I was excited to try some of the great microbrewery fare, but if you are a non-US citizen remember to bring your passport! I was asked to produce ID and despite showing my Australian driver's licence, I was still refused service (Arizona law is very strict apparently!) My husband however did thoroughly enjoy a few pints... and I may have snuck a sip or two. If I am back in Flagstaff again I will be well prepared!

“Great beer and good food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013 via mobile

Well appointed brewery in heart of flagstaff. Wide selection of beers and expansive menu. Prices are quite reasonable. Salmon salad was good with very fresh greens. Chili is a local favorite and it was quite good. Good lunch spot.

“Excellent Brews & Tasty Pizza in Fun & Artsy Setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

We enjoy micro-breweries (like Great Lakes Brewery) back home that serve up quality beers and unusual fare, so we were very interested in exploring Flagstaff's options during our 4 night stay. Best of the bunch was Beaver Street Brewery. Outstanding beers (I especially recommend their R&R Stout, which is smooth, potent, rich & creamy, w/o the usual bitterness of most stouts; whereas my wife liked their very popular red ale), tasty pizza (if you like wood-fired, thin crust; but they are not very filling), a staff that welcomes you into the fun there the moment you enter, and an atmosphere (like most classy micro-b's) that is filled with interesting antiques (old stuff) and college students (young patrons). A very cool place for an evening of brews and banter.

“Looking for a nice cold beer after your hike at the Grand Canyon nearby?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

Beaver Street has two amazing punches to earn your business. Their handcrafted beers are great of course but the wood fired pizzas are the best I have ever had the pleasure of having. Trust me on this, order a large and eat what you can safely, and take the rest with you in the box they give you on your next adventure whether it is to the red rocks of Sedona, the Grand Canyon, or even in your hotel room when you arise from all the great beer you have sampled. Whenever visiting a new city go local! See how the locals do and support those small business owners, generally the service and fare are the best you’ll find.

“Good beer good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

You have to love it when you can get away from the chains and still find some atmosphere and good food. Where we live getting to see a wood fired pizza oven is impossible. I was facinated and watched the pizza chef for quite a while. It's quite an operation. The pizza was just plain great. We had a real nice experience.
