A well done museum covering interesting history and families of Arizona. The well preserved home is lovely and gives you a good idea of life then.

“Interesting part of Western America”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2012

The Riordan brothers built this house for both of their families so it is really two mirror images log houses joined by a family/game room. A really large house for its time. Lots of interesting features in the home and the state park service provides regular tours for a fee. Worth a look for those interested in the history of the West.

“A book and its cover”

This wonderful house looks like a log cabin. It is not. And check out the "shoes" by the fireplace in the connecting play room.

“A Gem in the middle of Flagstaff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2012

If you are interested in the history of Flagstaff, then this is the site for you. Underestimated among State Parks, this park often struggles to pay the bills and I don't understand why. The tour guides are friendly, well-informed and the ingenuity of the Riordan brothers is truly inspiring.
