“Great Comfort Inn!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

My boyfriend and I went to Flagstaff for a quick get away and stayed at Comfort Inn. The staff was extremly friendly and helpful! The log cabin feel was refreshing and very comfortable.

The only negative comment was when we checked in the room someone who worked there knocked on our door. They were very surprised when I answered. They apologized over and over again and said they didn't know anyone was in the room. We had literally just checked in so I assume they didn't communicate that which was why we encountered this. Not a big deal.

Otherwise, breakfast was great, staff was excellent, room was clean and comfortable, and we had a nice night away from reality. I would reccommend the Comfort Inn to anyone coming to Flagstaff!

What do I mean by - it is wood? The structure of the hotel is wood. This gives a good finish to the public and bedrooms. However, just like any other wooden structure the floors creak when walked on. This normally is not a problem. Unless of course you have several girl soccer teams staying who pass the time running up and down stairs and along the hallways. The stairs were on the other side of our bedroom wall. This was beyond the control of the hotel staff. Their parents were in the lounge, but were socializing and did nothing. They went to bed about 10 pm, which allowed us to sleep. The location of our room was next to the breakfast area. Waffles were made continuously from 6.00 am. The alarm for turning them went off every minute. Fortunately, we wanted to get up at 6.00 am. Monday, they had gone and it was heaven!
Having said all that - the hotel itself was great. The room was clean and maintained. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and worked. The breakfast had a good selection. All staff were friendly. The location was ideal. I would go back again - I would check on soccer tournaments in the area first.

We stay one night and we going to do the Grand Canyon and stay the next night in Williams but this property was so nice and priced so right that we stay the second night here instead. The told me it was renovated 4 years ago but the place in immaculate. I didn't uses the poll and two hot tubs but they looked good. They are outside. the fitness room is well equipped for a hotel and the machines all work and are professional quality. Breakfast? What do you want? Eggs, ham, sausage, boiled eggs (peeled), waffles, etc., etc., etc. Staying here again will be a no brainer.

This is a beautiful hotel. Everything about it was just wonderful, from the staff the room the pool area the breakfast, I just couldn't fault it. The only place to stay in flagstaff and in comparison with so many others which charged so much more it was great value for money and away from the trains so it was quiet. Brilliant

Room Tip: Ask for an upstairs room as its quieter

The staff are very kind, fast check in, express check out, the whole place is nice and clean in a good location in the city. Vending machines are little bit noisy and the end of the hallway, so you can here it in the room if you next to it.
Breakfast is an american standard, plastic trays and cups, some bagels and breads, cereal, pancake and american long coffee.
The hotel is in the middle of Flagstaff, you can easily reach (walk) to supermarket, restaurants, Starbucks. Historical downtown only can reach by car, approx. 5 minutes.
1,5 hour from the Grand Canyon south rim, Williams in on the way, worth to see it, it's an authentic old small town on the Rout 66.

Room Tip: Not stay front of the elevator or near the vending machines, it's noisy.

We had a very pleasant stay. No problems at all. In fact, when my granddaughter had trouble falling asleep, the night desk clerk found some milk for us so we didn't have to run out to a store. The breakfast has hot and cold food, including scrambled eggs, sausage, and ham.

This is a good hotel. Staff are friendly. Hotel is quiet. Rooms are clean, well furnished, and have soft beds. Complimentary breakfast is good. It includes all the standard favorites - sausage, cereal, bagels, pastries, eggs etc. Express check out is a snap.
