“Incredible wings and great beer.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2011

We went here on the reccomendation of the hotel desk staff. It doesn't really look like like much from the outside but once you start getting food and drink it really makes up for it. We had a pile of wings to start with which were lovely and crisp with a varied selection of good dips. We followed this with a couple of good mains. The service was superb and the beer surprisingly good. We had a tasting flight which let us try pretty much all of them when you add the couple of pints we had. If you are in Flagstaff we would recommend this place for a great casual meal but really recommend trying the beers.

“Above average IPA”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2011

Went in for dinner for the first time. the IPA was very good. Tri tip was tender and flavorful. Had the "smoking hot bbq sauce." Though it was pretty spicy, not to bad to hide the flavor. Good parking outside, and has nice patio. All in all I liked the place and probably will return on another visit to Flagstaff.

“Nice brewpub, all around.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2011

Stopped here in the late afternoon with my parents after visiting the Grand Canyon. Made it just in time to order from the list of reasonably priced lunch specials. I chose the Cajun spiced fried catfish--nicely done, with just the right amount of heat, crispy breading and a generous portion of fries on the side. I'm a fan of porters, and almost always go for this beer variety while at a brewpub. Lumberyard's was true to the style, with a good, robust flavor. The work shift changed during our meal, with both servers friendly and attentive.

“nice pub grub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2010

We ate here for the first time and ate outside. If you like trains going by frequently then the outdoors is for you. The pub is right next to the main line. Our server, Eric, was excellent. He was very helpful and polite and made sure we were comfortable with the sun, wind, etc. The food was very good. The portion size was large. One of our group did not like the potato salad but Eric without hesitation replaced it with some fries. Very similar to Beaver St Brewery which is only 2 blocks west but the menu selection is different. Overall a nice place to eat and grab a brew.
