“Average at best!!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013 via mobile

Driving through Flagstaff on a road trip and decided to stop here for the evening. Heard about charly's pub / weatherford hotel so decided to do the local thing and give it a shot.

The place historically was really cool. Drinks were good especially from the bar upstairs. The actual wooden bar was wyatt earp's bar that was brought in from Tombstone AZ. This aspect of the place is cool BUT DO NOT EAT HERE.

The nacho appetizer with black beans was good but the steaks were not! It wasnt from the lack of effort on their part because the setups were nice, the presentation was good, the service was great but the steak was equivalent to a buffet style restaurant's steak. Mediocre at best!

My advice - have a drink here - take some photos - read the pictures on the wall about the history - BUT - eat somewhere else!

“Zane Grey and Wyatt Earp's Bar!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

Do not miss this Pub!! AKA The Weatherford Hotel - Flagstaff's oldest. Zane Grey wrote a few novels while living here and Wyatt Earp's Bar is installed in all its glory on the 2nd floor - having been moved in its entirety from Tombstone!! GREAT place - and good food too!

“We eat here every time we are in town”

Love the historic ambiance and the food is consistently great. The service is a bit slow but we are prepared for it when we get there so nobody gets upset.

“Lovely”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Really nice old place with great history displayed on the walls.
Our waitress Leah was terrific and very attentive.
Food was good and so was the wine! WE sat in front of the fireplace and had a great evening.

“More of a local mixed bar”

Food was average and a local Irish band was playing. Cold. Did not seem like any heat. Atmosphere ok.
