Charly's is located next to Heritage Square. The pork ribs and quesedias were the best we have had. Dined outside so we got to see all of the downtown activity

We went here on the advice from someone from the tourist center by the train tracks. It did not disappoint. It is located off the lobby of an historic hotel. The restaurant has both outside and inside seating. On the day we were there, the weather was perfect and the doors were open allowing the pleasant breeze to come inside. We ordered hamburgers and enjoyed the atmosphere including college kids and parents in town visiting. I'd go back!

This is a restaurant in an very old hotel downtown, so it has some history to it, and provides some detailed reading in the menu. Though, with that, it is not well laid out, with a few small connecting rooms. The service was decent, but could have been faster, but the appetizer did come out a decent enough time before the entrees.

The selection isn't the best, but it also isn't hard to find something most people would like. Otherwise, it has a quite impressive bar and liquor menu.

We arrived here around 9 PM after trying to get dinner at Mountain Oasis, recommended by a local friend. Mountain Oasis had a "Closed" sign at only 8:45 PM (!) though they advertise they are opened til 9 PM. We were very hungry, walking around looking for an alternative when we saw this fine-looking Weatherford hotel restaurant. We ate in the outside section so we didn't get to absorb the historic aspects of the eatery, but thoroughly enjoyed our al fresco meal.

Perhaps because of the late hour and it was not busy, our server was excellent - friendly and attentive. Our water glasses were never empty (it was a scorcher of a day and we drank a lot of water) and service was prompt.

We ordered burgers - my husband the "Leroux Burger" and I the Portabella mushroom burger. They were both very good. I was especially pleased with the generous roasted red bell peppers and onions that accompanied the thick and juicy portabella with Swiss cheese. My only complaint was the choice of teriyaki marinade - it's not what I'd have chosen to pair with pesto aioli, Swiss cheese and roasted vegetables. But fortunately the teriyaki flavor was mild. The Leroux burger was quite tasty and cooked as ordered. It's not cheap for basically a burger and fries, but given the lovely setting and service in a touristy part of town, it wasn't a rip-off either.
