This place is a pretty good value for the price you pay but do not expect luxury.
The staff was very friendly and responsive. The food at the on-site restaurant was very good and the complimentary breakfast was great--much better than many higher rated hotels. They had french toast, sausage, bacon, real eggs, cereal, juice, coffee, cocoa. We had complimentary water bottles in our room, free lift tickets to go to the top of the mountain (beautiful view), and the staff loaned us a deck of playing cards. It is a pretty straight shot to the Grand Canyon--it only took us 75 minutes to get there.
The rooms are cute little cabins though they are older and a bit musty-smelling. Our room was hot, no air conditioning but there was a fan. We left the room open to air out for awhile. The bed was not very comefortable and I would advise you to bring your own pillow for comfort. Overall, a good bargain for the summer, but nothing fancy.
