This is challenging hike that takes you over 12,000 feet. Mostly done in summer and fall. Late summer afternoon thunderstorms can be an issue.
we drove up to the peaks area, but the area was closed.
However, the drive up was beautiful with all the yellow leaves blowing around.
Such a surprise to see the mts but i would definitely love to come skiing here in the winter, makes for a beautiful sunset and sunrise.
Once I reached the peak you can't help it, but to feel like a million bucks;)! Just absolutely amazing views from the peak! However, this is not no easy hike at all, if your up for a challenge then this would be a perfect hike for you;).
Great views on clear days from the GCNP & the drive over very exciting. Clear days make pics worthwhile.
