“Great Customer Service and Accommodations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2010

Abey (Front Desk) was very accommodating of our special requests. We had originally signed up via ArizonaHotels.com. We recommend reserving your room directly with the hotel so you can change plans without major hassle. Abey helped us throught that process and was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was nice and the location on Old Route 66 was convenient for us. All in all a great experience.

This is the best value. Low price and all the comforts you need.
Extremely difficult to find. Google maps is incorrect. Make sure you have the hotel phone number so that you can ask for directions. Great internet service. I couldn't get it to work at first, but they have a help desk that you can call and he walked me through the setup. Rooms were great. Had a refrig and microwave and a safe. I loved it here. One thing I regret is that I didn't book online. It was more expensive when I got there in person.

Overlooking the reviews about this hotel,i am wondering if we are talking about the same Travelodge in Flagstaff.

About this one.
Beautifull service orientated Indian owners/staff.
I am not from the USA , so i do'nt mind to talk with people who have less English than i have.
(Overnighting in the USA demands a bit of Spanish, not English.)

What do you expect from a $50 hotel that is booked every night?
Clean rooms,beds and bathrooms.
That's what you get here !

Okay ; the internet connection depends on what room you are in.
If you are further from the reception you don't have internet.
So what i did; went to the reception, took a cup of coffee and did my emailing.
No problem.

If you are hungry on arrivall?
My tip; order the Chinese !!!
It is top !!!

And the train?
Orange blossom special.
Yes the train is there; long before this hotel was build.
So you hear it.

There are no restaurants in the direct area.
A cafetaria right across the street.
And a gasstation on the corner, where people are friendly and offer you coffee

2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2009

My family stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and downtown Flagstaff. It is quite a run-down motel and it wasn't cheap either! When we first checked into our room, we noticed it was very bare-minimum in regards to amenities, furnishings, and cleanliness. A number of the power outlets did not work, some of the lightbulbs in the lamps were missing, and the carpet, walls, and bathroom were in dire need of remodeling. On top of all this, the "breakfast" they provide in the morning is extremely pitiful: little muffins, bad/stale fruit, and days-old coffee (gave one of my family members food poisoning). We got cereal, milk, and bagels from Walmart instead. Also, their website says that they have a laundry room for guests, but we did not find one, and had to use a local laundromat. They also boast free wi-fi, but it did not really exist, and I had to steal a signal from the Days Inn next door, which was also spotty. And finally, the motel is right near the traintracks and when the train came by during the night, the whistle woke some of us up multiple times. I really don't have anything good to say about this motel, except that it was just a place to sleep at night (most of the time) before spending most of our days out exploring Arizona. Don't waste your money on this.

Some reviews seem to be wrong this Travelodge doesnt have pool, there are three in town, however this one seems to be the better one of the three, Rooms are spacious, clean and yet reasonably price. Front desk was very nice.

The hotel was clean and the price was good comared to others in the area. Breakfast not worthwhile. If the hotel had free wifi in the lobby, it wasn't obvious.
