Great place to visit for the Native American history buff and the walk around the ruins is very short.

“Incredible”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

My first experience at an ancient pueblo ruin. The vies of the Painted Desert are beautiful. The site is well preserved and has good interpretive signs for self tours.

“A great side trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

If you want to see ruins up close and personal, this is the place. The visitor center has lots of great information and the largest ruin is out their back door. But make sure to drive out to the other areas, they are definitely worth the time.

“History underfoot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

what is greater than walking through history, as it stands today!?! To walk through the old ruins of the American Indians, is wonderful. It is one thing to see it in a museum, and another to walk the land yourself.

“Fascinating History”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

We drove and then walked to several of the adobe houses. Fascinating, each worth the walk if you like ruins and history.
