“Very interesting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Easy drive from Flagstaff. Short informative hikes to the different ruins. The visitor center isn't much, but worth going to.

“Don't miss the blowhole!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

This was great. The ruins are interesting and the way that the pueblos incorporate the rugged natural rock outcrop is really neat. Hike around the pueblos, but also be sure to walk all the way to the end of the path where there is a special surprise -- a natural blowhole! Sometimes air blows out, sometimes air is sucked in. Very cool! There is a plaque nearby explaining the hypothesis thought to cause this feature.

“Great View of History”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

My family and I really enjoyed Wupatki. It is an amazingly preserved ruin and worth the visit. Just a short walk from the parking lot and simply amazing to imagine life in those days.

“Nice, on the historical side. Very old pueblos.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

Very scenic drive outside of Flagstaff. Do the 2 hr circle route which includes other local parks including Sunset Crater. Stop for a couple hikes along the way. Rather pleasant, but it's hard to beat the Grand Canyon to the north and Sedona to the south

“FANTASTIC”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2012

One of my favorite National Parks. Wupatki is a must see. Indian pueblos built on top of red rock mesas 700-800 years old. Attached to Sunset Crater National Monument, also really interesting. Flagstaff is a center of Archeology and this National Monument is not far outside the city limits of Flagstaff. Also be sure and visit Elden Ruins and Walnut Canyon National Monument.
