The first time we ate here was with my father-in-law. It is a "meat and three" kind if place with a cafeteria line. Catfish (light, dredged in cornmeal the right way and lightly fried - YUM), fried chicken, BBQ - greens, sweet potatoes, okra ( the BEST okra!). The food is wonderful but the best thing is the caring family who prepare and serve it. My father-in-law had taken all of us there, so after his funeral this week we all went (at least 30 of us) and ate and visited. His favorite dessert was the banana pudding. My daughter's is the lemon cake with four layers! This is comfort food to the max!
