Owner description: At Mayday, here’s what we are about: • We want to make a quality product without taking ourselves too seriously. We make beer. We don’t perform open heart surgery, or transport nuclear waste; there is no reason to get uptight about it. • We want to make beer that you can drink more than one of. • We are a venue for great live music, in our tasting room, in the brewery, and outside when weather permits. • When you come to our brewery, we want it to be an experience. • We opened the brewery to have fun and make friends, and hopefully someday make some money. Love the people, love the beer

“Worth the drive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

We bought the living social for the tour/ tasting/ tshirt/ glass combo. We've tried all the local breweries for the most part, as well as ones in Atlanta so the 30-40 minute drive to the Boro didn't seem too bad.

Wow, we were very impressed first off with the facilities.
Second, the staff was exceptional.
Third, the tour with Ozzy (owner) was both funny and informative.
Fourth, the beer was all great. All the way from the Blonde to the Evil Octopus.
Fifth, they had a tv truck set up outside so you wouldn't miss the important game(s) as well as a food truck.

Don't hesitate to make the short drive to the 'Boro and spend a few hours on a Saturday afternoon. We'll be back.
