“A+ service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2014

I had read that Olive Garden was updating their menu, so we went to give it a try. We were near this location, and fortunately we walked in just before the dinner rush. This may be a chain restaurant, but it's a busy restaurant in this location during the weekend dinner hours.

We started off trying something off their new menu with the crispy asparagus. It was a lovely addition to the menu, and you receive enough of this small plate appetizer to share between a table of four. I wouldn't order it again, because it was too greasy even for a fried dish, but I applaud the direction of the menu changes.

For entrees, we all ordered something different - grilled chicken flatbread, garlic rosemary chicken with mashed potatoes, fettuccine alfredo, and ravioli di portobello. The fettuccine came out perfectly. The ravioli was well done as well, although that one had a very small portion size. The flatbread was fine, but the grilled chicken didn't taste grilled. The garlic rosemary chicken was missing its illustrated rosemary, but there was plenty of garlic and fresh basil. The dish was swimming in sauce, though, which was unexpected since the menu emphasized the grilled chicken portion of the dish. It just wasn't what was expected from the description under lighter fare. The salad and breadsticks were the same as always.

We finished off with one dessert for four people, the black tie mousse cake. It was fine, and the presentation was quite nice.

Our server was very friendly and attentive. The entire restaurant staff was super nice, even as the restaurant grew busier and busier on a weekend.

Bottom line - I don't eat here often, but I'd probably order the old menu items over the new ones at this point. And if you want the salad and breadsticks and usual pasta fare from Olive Garden, this location is a great place to enjoy it. Like I said in the title, the service was fantastic.

“Excellent Service and Great Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2014

I am part of a senior group who meets every Wed. at different locations for dinner. This evening we ate at Olive Garden in our hometown. The service was excellent. We had 2 servers and both were friendly and efficient. Everyone's meal was accurate and well presented. The pricing is average but portions are good. The facility was clean, well lit and well decorated. Definitely a good place for lunch or dinner in Murfreesboro, TN.

“Great meal and caring staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2014

We arrived late at night and much of the restaurant was in "clean up mode" for closing. We were seated and graciously served. Food was typical Olive Garden and was delicious. Couldn't have asked for anything more than was provided.

“Worse Meal”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014

How do you miss up the Zuppa Toscana soup? They did by using too many potatoes what the soup has a greenish look to it, not creamy white. Visibly the soup was totally wrong and I have to question who made it. Second, my Tour of Italy looked as if it was from the day before an re-heated. My chicken parmigiana was dry and the lasagna was very burnt. Once again who is in charge of the kitchen and why serve it if you wouldn't eat it yourself.

“Chain Restaurant”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2013

The food was nothing special. The service was ok. The restaurant was clean and hostess was polite. Someone gave us a gift certificate to Olive Garden, otherwise we would have chosen somewhere else to eat.
