Stayed 3 nights at Wingate Inn Murfreesboro in June 2004. choose hotel because website stated it was "Brand New". Hotel is NOT new but was built in 1997. Staff was nice and accomodating. Room ( #308) was clean with new bedspreds but rather hum-drum decor. Room did have a bonus of a microwave & mini-fridge. Carpet in room was fine but hall and elevator carpets are in great need of replacement so it gave hotel a dingy feel.
Breakfast buffet was nice, tidy and well stocked.
All in all an OK stay but would probably look for another place on next trip. There is a newly opened Days Inn & Suites right across the street and looks like another new hotel is being built next door. Just a note for those like staying in the fresh new places.
