We went here on my birthday for a romantic dinner. This place has exceptional customer service. We arrived a few minutes before our 8pm reservation, and we were told it would be a few minutes. They asked us to sit at the bar, however we declined drinks. About ten minutes passed and we were still waiting, no big deal. The owner sent the waiter over to us and he said they would very much like to offer us free drinks for our inconvenience. We said OKAY! My goodness, it was the best chocolate martini I’ve ever had, Happy Birthday to me! They subdued any annoyance we had over waiting and showed us what great care they take of their customers, something lacking in many establishments today. The dining room was beautifully decorated and romantic, definitely not a place for young kids. There was a gentleman playing on a piano in the dining room which added to the ambiance. The wait staff was extremely attentive and fast. We got our bread and drinks right away, and our meal shortly afterwards. The food was very good, not the best Italian food I’ve ever had, but good. It was pricey but then again you are paying for the whole experience. When the waiter brought out our dessert, the piano player began crooning Happy Birthday and the entire wait staff stopped and sung to me! Kudos to my husband for arranging that! It was a very memorable and special evening! My only complaint was that the bread was cold and not the best, but I’m a bread lover so I am a little critical of those things!
