Many markers for many people who fell in battle. Be sure to visit the mass burial sites for the Confederat dead located outside the Cemetary.

“Not just for tourist”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

I grew up around this area and it has so much to offer. It's a great place to ride bikes and picnic or to talk a nature walk. The visitors center also has great information.

“Attractive Cemetery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

The National Cemetery is located adjacent to the Shiloh National Battlefield Park and is within walking distance of the visitors' center. The Federal casualties from the battle of Shiloh are buried here, along with some from nearby areas and some modern burials. The cemetery overlooks the Tennessee River and it a very attractive burial site.

“Great place to walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

The paths are made for you to walk or bike or just drive aroung and look. The atmosphere and the feeling of the ideas that brothers fought against eachother for what they believed in.

“A wonderful place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

Shiloh was the scene of a major Civil War battle and today it is a place of reverance for that battle, and one of the few places where you can actually get some sense of how burtal the Civil War was. Shiloh is a beautiful place, with graves (including mass graves) almost everywhere. You can still dig musket ball from the trees in the park (althought that is frowned upon). Shiloh is a beautiful place with a message of how terrible war can be.
