You can stop your search with the Piney Hill B&B. We did, and agree with the guests who thought it was an outstanding experience. We were the only guests the Sunday night before Thanksgiving. Wiley greeted us with a text message before we arrived. Hank met us at the door and volunteered some history about the house. We were shown menus for restaurants in town, made to feel right at home hopping into the hot tub overlooking pastures beside the house, sat ourselves down to a Scrabble game at the dining room table, and enjoyed a late night snack of homemade cake. We were thoughtfully given printouts of trail maps for the Shenandoah and, overall, thought the experience was as comfortable and relaxing as being invited to stay with friends.

My boyfriend and I stayed for a long weekend at Piney Hill in the Walter Rogers room and had an absolutely wonderful time! Hank and Wiley were incredibly gracious with their advice, suggestions and took amazing care of us for the entire weekend. The inn was beautiful and the food was outstanding! We had such a wonderful time over the weekend and look forward to returning. I can't recommend Piney Hill enough. Its fantastic!

My wife and I stayed in the Hurley Bird cottage for our honeymoon. We couldn't have planned it better between arriving during the peak of the leaves changing, great weather and Hank and Wiley providing us with perfect service and friendship. The Hurley Bird was the perfect size for us and could not have been more comforting. Piney Hill is just minutes from town and Skyline Drive, but has a wonderful country setting. It was great to spend the days enjoying the trails and then come home (yes, it felt like home) to some good local wine (check out the stores in town and grab a bottle of the blackberry wine) and getting cozy on the couch. The breakfasts are amazing and are delivered to the front door in a picnic basket every morning around 8:45 with a slight but polite knock on the door. We also went with the relaxation package and didn't regret a single penny we spent on it. The couples massage was wonderful and done in the privacy of the cottage by a mother-daughter team who could not of been more nice and professional. The icing on the cake was Mrs. Prissy, one of the cats would run to great us whether we were coming or going. When it came time to leave we didn't want to go. We look forward to making many more trips to Piney Hill in the future. Hank and Wiley were perfect hosts who provided us with the best honeymoon we could have experienced. Thanks so much Hank and Wiley!!!

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing getaway for our first wedding anniversary, and we definitely found it at Piney Hill B&B. Hank and Wiley were so welcoming. They made sure our weekend felt extra special - filled with amazing food, great recommendations for vineyards, restaurants and other activities. The view from the B&B is absolutely beautiful, and the property is covered with pretty landscaping and extra details that make your stay extra cozy. We will definitely be going back to Piney Hill for another stay.

We booked a weekend stay at Piney Hill B&B at the recommendation of some friends that had been there. All I can say is WOW! Jason and I had a FANTASTIC time! The innkeepers Hank and Wiley are the BEST! Great personalities, fantastic cooks, and overall wonderful hosts! The main house was so CUTE! Nicely decorated inside and out. The grounds are surrounded with lush beautiful greenery, flowers and plants.
Breakfast each morning is Delicious! I wish I could have a spread like that every day!
Hank and Wiley always made sure we were taken care of and had many recommendations of attractions around town and great places to eat.
I would HIGHLY recommend Piney Hill B&B to ANYONE!! There is a reason they are the best B&B in the state and now we know why too!
Thanks Hank and Wiley for making our weekend getaway so memorable!

Mark and Jason.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are GREAT! Not a bad one in the place!

My boyfriend and I were looking for an out-of-the-way B&B in Luray where we could just relax, and we definitely found it. Upon arrival we knew right away this was a well taken care of home with all of the beautiful landscaping, flowers, and fall decorations placed just right. One of the innkeepers, Wiley, greeted us at the door and immediately made us feel at home. He showed us around the inn and gave us a brief history of the home with some very interesting facts. While talking with Wiley, the other innkeeper, Hank, walked in the kitchen to greet us and we felt like we were having a conversation with great friends from the past. They both left us with useful information about the town, musical events and restaurants. We spent a fantastic evening in town, came back to Piney Hill B&B, and spent a comfortable night in our room. We woke to the wonderful aroma of breakfast baking in the kitchen, and when we finally made it downstairs, we grabbed a cup of coffee and spent a few minutes in the side yard surrounded by the view of the mountains. When Wiley let us know breakfast was ready, we were seated at a gorgeous 10 foot long old barn-style table and had the most delicious breakfast I've had in years. Wiley and Hank were both in the kitchen preparing breakfast, but it's still up in the air as to who cooked what - I think they both need to get credit for it! After breakfast, we were given even more information about what was going on in town, so off we went on our adventure in the Luray area. The inn was very, very clean, and was tastefully decorated with so many items placed in the perfect places. My only regret is not bringing my bathing suit for the hot tub - it's outside and looks like it would be so nice to relax in the hot tub while surrounded by the mountains. We will definitely be back to Piney Hill Bed and Breakfast - I'm already checking my schedule for when we can go!

Room Tip: Emma Ruffner Rogers room has a wonderful mountain view
