I just spent three days at the Inn and can't brag on this enough. The rooms are charming, clean and comfortable. The Innkeeper Ann is a fabulous host. She goes above and beyond to make her guests comfortable. The breakfast is superb and prepared by Ann with only fresh produce. Really so delicious with such a variety of fresh fruits, homemade biscuits, waffles, bacon, sausage, grits and with a variety of foods each prepared to perfection. Her assistant Daryl is very gracious and capable. This is such a fun place to stay and is conveniently located to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this Inn on your next visit to Luray. Mrs. E Gamble.

Room Tip: All rooms are charming.

The Inn of the Shenandoah, formerly the Victorian Inn, has been taken over by new owners and the results provide a most pleasant stay in a charming, clean, well-maintained B&B in Luray right in the heart of town. Ann M. will be there to welcome you and show you the house and your room. We stayed in the Willow Room, a lovely room with its own little TV/ sitting room, huge bathroom with a jacuzzi, and a table and chairs on the deck with a charming view of the grounds. There was a bottle of wine and bottled drinks in the small refrigerator, and a basket of snacks waiting for us, a gift from the owners. You can walk through the antique stores in the town and the Inn is situated close to the Shenadoah National Park. The bed was very comfortable and after your night of slumber you will treated to a delicious breakfast, cooked with a Southern flair. You can start your day or enjoy the comfy seating in the living room or on the front porch. We only stayed one night but will be looking forward to another restful, longer stay! Thanks Ann for such a special treat!

Room Tip: The Willow Room gives you a small sitting room where someone can watch TV without disturbing someone...

Ann and Darryl made our stay a very special time. We had researched the local B&B's and we made an excellent choice. Our room was perfect and we couldn't asked for a better time. I would strongly recommend this experience to anyone coming to this area. The food was great and we will be back! Thanks again Ann and Darryl for our stay.

If you are looking for nice, clean and comfortable bed and breakfast in Luray, VA. I truly recommend The Inn of the Shenandoah. It is so much better than staying at a hotel. The host/innkeeper name Anne was so sweet, she made me and my husband feel really welcomed and right at home. Anne really went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable. When we arrived, she provided us a bottle of wine of our choice. We had a nice king size comfortable bed and the sheets felt like silk, I slept like a baby. Love, love, love the jacuzzi tub and OMG the Breakfast was so delicious and awesome! Anne made the best homemade waffles I have ever had. You also get different kinds of fresh fruit, coffee and juice. The next day we got scrambled eggs mixed w/cheese, spinach, and mushrooms and some fried grits. It was delicious! Thank you Anne for your hopitalty and making us feel at home, you are the best. I loved it, I wish I could had stayed a little longer. Can't wait to go back again!

The wife and I just spent the night while in Luray visiting family. The management has done a great job renovating since we last saw it. Still, a little work needs to be done. The downstairs sitting rooms are perfect for relaxing and the stained glass windows were a subject for discussion. It was interesting to note that the clear glass windows were original!
Rooms are spacious and comfortable. A little more lighting in our bathroom by the sink would have been helpful, but no big deal. Management was cheerful and friendly. Breakfast was very good; we really liked the sausage.
The location is ideal for exploring Luray. Walking and driving is easy. there are a number of nearby shops to drop into and visit.
We will definitely stay again when we return to visit relatives.

from he phone call before to the day we left we where treated extremely well. Ann cared for needs, no apples or peaches for breakfast due to an allergy and to what you want to drink with breakfast. Food was excellent and more than enough. Room was very clean and well stocked. The updates where nice and she is is one of the friendliest innkeepers we have encounter over the years. Would highly recommend you try this B& B since the new innkeeper has taken over.

My boyfriend and I were the first guests to stay at the Inn of the Shenandoah under the new management (Formerly the Victorian Inn.) Our stay was nothing less than perfect. Anne, the world renowned inn-keeper went above and beyond to make us feel at home! All of the rooms in the Inn have been recently renovated and are very spacious. Each room also has its own private little balcony. Our room was fully stocked with a complimentary bottle of wine, robes and slippers, a mini fridge filled with water and soda, and a plate of candies and chips. Anne's breakfasts were to DIE for. Seriously amazing, and made with the freshest ingredients. Every morning started with bottomless cups of coffee on the beautiful front porch. Anne was extremely knowledgeable of the area and provided us with great recommendations on places to eat and visit. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. We will definitely be back!! Thank you so much Queen Anne!!!

Room Tip: All three rooms are located on the second floor of the house and have a balcony.
