“Nice place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

The hotel is very quiet, clean and the breakfast is just GREAT! the buffet does not offer too many choices but the "cook it yourself" waffle is good.

T-mobile signal is not too strong, though.

This is a great hotel for a quick stop over on your way to Sequoia National Park.

Very confortable beds and pillows, room is spacious and clean.
Breakfast is also good for this price range, It has fresh made waffles, bread, eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, juice, tea, coffee.
Internet works well in the rooms.
Some restaurantes near by to grab a byte to eat after visiting the parks.

After reading the reviews of other places in the area, decided to stay here.
This is a good option when going to Sequoia. three Rivers is a small town before the park and not many hotels options. Unless u want to stay on the expensive resorts inside the park or stay in Visalia about 30-40 mins away
There are not to many options in three rivers and after driving in and out of the area, this one seem to be the newest, after stating, I would stay here when i visit Sequoia. The other hotels and motels look old and reviews I read were very discouraging.
front desk was friendly corteous and check in was pretty quick.
Rooms are spacious, clean and remodeled. It has a microwave and a small refrigerator. Bed is comfortable. bathroom is also pretty basic, bathroom sink is pretty wide. bath tub pretty basic. It is a basic suite, nothing fancy.
WIFI was slow to log in, but once log in, has no issues. We had no celular reception or 4G in three rivers.
People arrive late so there some noise in the parking lot, but not bad.
Room include deluxe continental breakfast. Good breakfast for the price. Includes scramble eggs, sausage, cereals muffins, pastries fruit, yogurt, juices. Also includes waffles. There is a waffle station. Waffles were really good

Overall a good stay for the money, Can't beat the price.Really good value for the price, nothing fancy, just a basic suite, with decent breakfast. If you do not expect a facny hotel, this place is a good option. Just a basic hotel, decent service, decent breakfast. For the area, I think one of the best options
I would say here next time visit the area

Room Tip: Choose a suite and 2nd floor

Arrived yesterday and told we could not book in until 4pm, once we checked in the room was nice, clean, beds were comfortable. However, we experienced problems with the wifi, slow to connect and constantly dropping! In the morning we had issues with NO WATER AT ALL, showers didn't work, toilets could not flush! Not sure if this is a third floor problem or the fact we are at the end of the corridor - took 1 hour for anyone to investigate the issue.
Breakfast was okay however due to the volume of people using the facilities it was quite cramped, especially around the waffle machine!
The "fitness centre" consists of one treadmill, one cross trainer and one bike...there are also a set of weights but the room is so small there can realistically only be two people using the room at once. There is a sauna just off this room but as there are no showering facilities it is difficult to understand how someone can use this properly?
We also had ONE item in the spin dryer (costing $2) and at the end of the cycle it was still wet...
Take from this what you will, we will not be back!

We arrived quite late in the evening after a relaxing trip to the Sequoia national park. We were offered the Suite and we readily accepted having not much of a choice at that time of the day. It looked like it wasn't let out for a while with the bad smell. The towels provided were worn out and had stains on them. The kitchen draw had pests in the them and stains too. Tired as hell, we chose to ignore everything and went to bed. Sleep quality was bad due to the beds and poor air conditioning.

Breakfast can't be worse. The place is so cramped with not so clean tables. Just one staff and a few tables was clearly struggling to handle all the guests as they lined up for the waffles and coffee. Food quality is poor too.

At check out, we communicated our concerns regarding the maintenance of the suite to the manager on duty. He offered to walk with us to check it out for himself and acknowledged all our complains. On demanding a compensation, he offered a meager 20 dollar discount on the bill, which wasn't clearly anywhere near to be a convincing offer. Choosing not to ruin our day with more arguments, we left the place promising ourselves not to return there again.

Room Tip: Say a big NO to the SUITE

We stayed one night while visiting Sequoia. I was a little skeptical at first. It was a MOTEL type facility. When we checked in and got to our room we found we were in one of the suites around the back of the building. I was so thrilled! I would HIGHLY recommend upgrading to this room type. The suites are in a building, a HOTEL with an elevator. The suite was spacious, with a couch and tv area and was clean. The king bed was super comfy. The suites are a distance from the breakfast area, which is a whole other story. The breakfast area…the mass of humanity. Maybe everyone staying that at the hotel all went to breakfast at the same time? It was so full of people, it was difficult to get a cup of coffee which by the way was pretty much the only thing left. I’m not sure if it’s normally like that but I would recommend going to breakfast early. They could not supply the food fast enough. It was there then gone, all the tables and chairs were taken. We had to eat in the lobby. Other than the breakfast fiasco, I would stay here again, in one of those suites!

This hotel is very shabby. Our bed was like a rock. The room was not clean and the staff were not helpful. My husband left a phone charger behind; he knew exactly where it was and phoned twice. The staff were not interested. The breakfast is about as bad as it gets. We had a room right by the metal stairs. People clunked up and down the stairs from 4.00am until late at night. The only thing going for this hotel is that it is relatively close to the Sequoia National Park.

Room Tip: Make sure you don't get a room opposite the stairs.
