Although the owners were very helpful and friendly, once we got there we were very disappointed to see that the cabins sat right on the highway, just a couple of steps away from the traffic. We reserved 4 nights, left after 2, and lost our money for the last 2 nights because their reservation policy is 14 days, no exceptions. Perhaps I should have looked and read a bit more closely, but even as I look now, I can't find anything that would realistically warn a potential guest about the fact that you will have cars going by until way after the sun goes down. We have a 13 month old and he could not sleep due to the noise. Also, during the summer it is extremely hot and if you have the air conditioner on, which you will, that noise combined with the traffic is enough to keep anyone up. The windows are regular, not dual paned, so you can hear everything. Laura, the owner, told us as we checked in that all we would hear at night would be the river, but the river was the last thing we heard, and mind you, it wasn't as close to the cabin as they say it is. We also hiked down and there is no river bed, so it is extremely difficult to get to the river at all, considering the lack of a trail and the boulders and rocks. Additionally, the bathroom is TINY. If you have a baby and are trying to bathe him with your partner's help, it'll be very hard. Lastly, they said there was WiFi, but there was no reception during the entire time we were there, which is not at all good when you consider that there is no cell phone reception either.

This review has been posted by Maria Dicono of Glendale, California. She booked well in advance; was mailed a rental agreement with our terms, conditions, and amenities. She signed and returned her contract well in advance of her visit. She called with many questions which we patiently answered, truthfully. She called two weeks ahead saying that she needed to arrive a day early to watch the World Cup; and we worked it out for her to be able to do so. Our website has pictures and text that presents our property perfectly as it is. We are hard working small business owners, and occasionally we have people come through that will not be pleased and will use this type of forum to offer untrue, anonymous slander. Our website makes it clear that our cabins are across the street from our Inn. It is a two lane country road by the time you get to our location, one mile from Sequoia National Park. There are pictures of all the interiors and exteriors of every cabin on our website with the views behind each cabin as well. The cabins are right on the edge of the riverbed. It is a two minute walk to the edge of the flowing river. The river can be heard night and day. People are very blessed when they walk out onto the deck of their cabin and see the beautiful view of the foothills rising sharply above the riverbed; they can watch the deer in the morning and evening coming across the riverbed, sometimes grazing right below their cabin. Mrs. Dicono told us that she was disabled, and arrived with her husband, and child under two. She had a lot of needs and questions which we tried very hard to answer and satisfy. We tried our best to be positive and assist her to make her visit to Sequoia National Park a rich experience. The weather is hot in July, we have a weather page on our website that advises guests of our average highs and lows for each month. The Dicono family went to visit Sequoia Park and were only gone for a few hours of their first day here. Sequoia Kings Canyon National Parks have days of exploration and enjoyment awaiting everyone of all ages for whatever level of ability. Mrs. Dicono told us that they had decided to leave; and that she understood all the terms of our mutual agreement, and if we could resell her cabin that would be great, but if we couldn't, she understood. Our cabins have full kitchen facilities and most people book them in advance of their visit. We unmarked our website and tried very hard to upgrade our incoming guests, and to sell it to telephone inquiries. However, it was a mid week stay and we were not able to sell the two nights that she left ahead of her reserved check out time. We are sorry that she did not find what she was looking for, however, we stand by our service and properties. We speak the truth, we make sure our guests understand our policies and agree to them with their signature word of honor. Our photos online are not disappointing compared to what you will see when you stay in our cabins, inn rooms, or vacation rental homes. We are hardworking American "Mom & Pop" business people, and what you see is what you get. We are complimented often with those very words, "It is just what you said, it looks just like the pictures." We honor our word.
