Don't know if I really want to talk about Lake Elowin. I really would never want it to become too popular, or crowded, or renovated in any way.
Were talking old school California cabins on a man made lake, fed by mineral waters that you can swim and canoe in, jump off the raft and catch a million tadpoles and bullfrogs.
My 4 year old grandson (and myself) could have stayed here for a week easily. Our cabin (#2) was steps from the lake. Milton (the owner of over 40 years) called it the "Honeymoon" cabin, because you really had to like someone to share it. Yep it's an oldie, but a goodie. Just like Lake Elowin Resort in Three Rivers, CA.
