My husband and I stayed here for a couple nights in September and were disappointed. For $155 a night we expected a lot more. The cabin was very rustic and a bit dirty. The bathroom is shared and unattached (obviously). The place is on solar power (great!) but it goes out in the middle of the night and since you are in the middle of NOWHERE the place is super dark. Also, beware of the 5.8 mile drive up Mineral King Road to the cabin... it's a very windy one-lane road alongside a mountain cliff. Bring EVERYTHING you need because once you safely survive the trip to the cabin you won't want to head back to pick up emergency items.
It is conveniently located to the Sequoia Park entrance (once you get back to Hwy 198) and it has a nice screened in porch which we were grateful for since the mosquitos and other bugs were out in full force!
Next time we will stay in Three Rivers or in the park itself for much less money.
