Stop here when going in or out Sequoia NP! Great subs and very very nice people serving you. we advise #1 on the list, Buffalo Bill. But the other subs are also delicious.

“SO fresh”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014

If you are going to sequoia you need to stop off here and pick up your lunch for the day. Myself and my boyfriend loved this place we both had either a salad or a sandwich made to go and they were DELICIOUS! Unfortunately they don't open until 10am so we bought our sandwiches the night before to bring with us on our hike. The ladies who work there are so friendly too. I would really recommend this place.

What to say? Great range and quality. Nice people. Good service. Competitive pricing. Locals all use it. Superb.

Absolutely recommend it - one of the best deli type restaurants I have ever been to.

“Yummy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014 via mobile

After reading the good reviews on TA we had to try Sierra Subs and Salads on the first night of our arrival to Three Rivers. The experience were so good that we decided to retur the morning after. Very nice with some good sandwiches that we could bring to the Giant Forest.

We tried The Hollywood Tremor, Manzanita Melt, B.L.A.T. and the Tuna Melt. All sandwiches were excellent and lived fully up to our expectations. Unfortunately they close at 5 on Sundays so we could not go for the third time :-)

Service was very friendly and the first night we ate outside, sitting at the benches with a magnificient view of the creek. Can really recommend this place.

“Incredible!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2014

This place blew our minds. We were staying at nearby Sequoia Village Inn in a unit with a full kitchen on a Sunday and Monday night. Since Sierra Subs is closed on Mondays and the reviews made it look like the best place in town, we decided to stock up Sunday evening. We ordered, all at once, eight sandwiches, two pizzas and two salads to be Sunday dinner, Monday lunch and Monday dinner for our family of four. The two extraordinarily friendly people behind the counter had us give them the whole order at once. They didn't write anything down, didn't make a single mistake, completed the order in about ten minutes, and smiled and chatted with us as they gathered the ingredients for each gourmet masterpiece. It was a mind-blowing feat of efficiency, culinary skill, and warmth.

Even if the food had been so-so, we would have been impressed and likely to recommend this place because of the phenomenal service and great menu. But the food was as good as the experience we'd had in the shop, and that is setting a very high bar. The sandwiches, in particular, were among the best we've ever had anywhere. The options are vast and the ingredients are fresh and tasty. The bake-at-home pizzas were solid. We're we to have the good fortune ever to go back to Sierra Subs (alas, we love on the other side of the country), I would choose more sandwiches over the pizzas, but we did enjoy our pizza meal. The sandwiches are, though, the standouts!

After a long drive, we felt very lucky to receive the kind reception and fabulous provisions we found at Sierra Subs. If you are visiting Sequoia National Park, be sure to have a meal or two or three or more from Sierra Subs.

Note that this place is a tiny storefront. I think they had a few outdoor tables, but this is a takeout place...and a fabulous one!!
