We walked the short General Grant Tree Trail. The Sequoias are just beautiful and it is hard to get your head around just how huge they are. Thank goodness for the National Parks.
Being around the giant sequoias was incredible! Visitors were very quiet around the trees, which was nice. It feels like being in a sacred place. The General Grant tree is the National Christmas Tree, so of course we wanted to see it. A nice walk around the grove, and an interesting museum to explore.
A nice weekend drive to enjoy the outdoors and scenery. There are restrauants and botiques on the way to enjoy.
Grant Grove was beautiful, and the trees are overwhelming. The road to and from the grove can be very curvy, and we had a teenager in the car who was quite carsick. Grant Grove village was convenient for carsickness pills, soda, and other needs.
Order the Sequoia Cheese burger and split it with a friend. The basket of fries will feed everyone at your table.
