The hotel is old and a little downtrodden but the owners make a great effort. Terrific location for spending time in Sequoia.
Provided you do not pay a big price you will be fine.
The grounds lead right down to the river and the views are terrific. Breakfast was decent and the location is peaceful and secluded.
I'm not a big fan of motel style rooms but it felt safe enough.
Recommend this place as a stopover before an early start in the National Parks in the area.
