“The North End in saugus”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2013

One of the best things that happened to Saugus resulting from the "Big Dig" was when the Pushcart was forced to move out of the North End. This Bistro offers a vast variety of Italian delicacies: veal, chicken, steak, and seafood, prepared with tasty sauces and cooked to perfection. The Steak Masala and the Panko Crusted Chicken stuffed with Mortadella and Cheese in Creamy Pesto are by far the best dinners we've ever had. The Calamari is fried to tender perfection, and their desserts are what you would expect from the North End. Portions are generous, we usually have more than enough leftovers for another night's dinner. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the owner makes it a point to visit every table and ask about your dinner and make you feel welcome. This is by far, the best restaurant in Saugus.

“Veal Cutlet the Best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

We have visited the Push Cart in Saugus several times. The food is AWESOME! Especially like their veal cutlet. Very good portions. Staff are excellent! Good wine selection. Small cozy atmosphere. The North End in Saugus!

“As good as my Nonna's”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

My favorite is the veal with lemon. Great food and the sauce is full of flavor. Attentive staff. Get there early on Thursdays and Friday's.
