“Excellent Steaks and Sides”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2014

Love the steaks, gorgonzola mac & cheese and cream corn. I love that when you have a special event, they give you a huge slice of cake (free) with a congratulatory note written in chocolate on the plate. Lastly, you can't go wrong with a seafood tower! A little pricey for the family. I would suggest leaving the kids at home. :-)

“Memorable Evening”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014

This upscale steakhouse is located right across the street from the performing arts center of thousand oaks. What they do with steaks here is an art form unto itself.
They pour a nice glass of wine and make a great martini. ( cabs are easy to get here to make your way home and the valets make it easy to pick up your car in the morning)
The meal is expensive and not something you would do once a week, but every now and then a splurge is necessary. The meal is an event and can last as long as you want as the friendly staff never makes you feel rushed. If you like live music, there is that too, although I would recommend a table away from the band to facilitate more intimate conversation.

“great ambiance, food & bar area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

They make very creative and tasty drinks. The ambiance is the best you can hope for in Ventura county. The food is excellent. I esp enjoyed the lobster and the caesar salad (which is LRG enough to share for 2). Nice wine list. Fun place to go. It doesn't have quite the cache that the BH location has (nor the fun factor) but still great for this area.

“excellent steak.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

everything else was good but not great. probably should have shared an entree, as this was the first time in my life I couldn't eat all of my steak. side dishes are served family style, big enough to share, and were good but nothing special.

“Upscale, Expensive, Entertainment, Classy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

Very upscale steakhouse. If you are looking for a classy place, this could be it. For intimate dining, ask to be seated in the room that faces Thousand Oaks Blvd. For more excitement, ask for a table in the bar. The bar has entertainment as well. If you are a family, then the main dining room will be best. The steaks are incredible, always cooked perfectly to order. One steak for me, and I take home leftovers for two more meals. The steaks are large and very expensive, but they are definitely quality. The staff is polished. Wine list is expensive, so perhaps you may consider the corkage fee.
