“Good basic Asian food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012 via mobile

Ate dinner on Oct. 26' with three others. Calamari appetizer, deep fried, was perfect, and the dipping sauce added to the experience. Dinner came quickly afterwards. Would have liked a pot of hot tea, but endless diet coke was ok. House noodles were good, but would have liked a little more. Turned out to be the best dish of the evening. Rib eye cubes with mushrooms were good, but the rib eye was a little scarce. Wanted a little vegetable, and the server suggested green beans --- very good. Cha siu red pork hit the spot even though it was an afterthought. Overall a four star dinner. Did not have room for desert.

“Great Asian food in Thousand Oaks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

We have been here twice with family and have enjoyed the tasty and delicious food. They have variations on Chinese and Japanese food. Best Asian food in T.O. The crispy skin chicken was my favorite, delicious subtle flavor. Sizzling beef and Singapore noodles were also noteworthy. They have a large variety of sushi, we didn't try those. Service was not great, but it's new, it will probably improve with experience.

“Great restaurant finally in this area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2012

I've now eaten at Chin San Asian Bistro twice and each time was wonderful. The food is very well prepared and delicious and the service is friendly and helpful. The Thousand Oaks area has a lot of restaurants but not too many good ones. Finally, there's a really good Asian restaurant in the area. Thank you.
