We stayed here with our teenager for one night while traveling through the area. We booked our reservation on the Choice Hotels website less than one hour before we arrived and were lucky to get the last king room, which happened to be a handicapped suite. We arrive before our reservation processed which made check-in a little challenging. Lena at the front desk worked hard to get it sorted out. We also asked her for a recommendation for a dinner restaurant that served good food and was not overpriced. Lena hit the nail on the head with her recommendation of The Blue Corn Cafe' and Brewery which was 4 lights away and AWESOME! ( look for a separate review)
Our room was clean, comfortable and updated. We were on the first floor facing away from the road. We did hear some noise from adjacent rooms but it was early enough not to be a problem. The bed...OMG! The bed was soooo comfortable! And the bedding was all white which makes it easy to see that is was extremely clean. The A/C was very quiet.
The breakfast was good but the prepared egg and cheese omlets were cold. I heated mine in the microwave so that was fine. The fresh whole fruit was full the bananas were perfect!
We used our AAA discount and the price was a good value. I would stay here again if we come back to this area.
