“Better than expected. Great value.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

Stayed here two nights as part of a living social deal so my expectations weren't all that high to begin with. But I was very pleasantly surprised by the friendliness, cleanliness, comfort and value of this place. Upon arrival, they set us up in a quiet room as requested. Shortly thereafter, a complimentary bottle of wine was delivered to our door. Bonus points for free wine always!! Breakfast is included with your stay and it's a really big everything from migas to cereal spread. They also offer a happy hour from 5-7 pm which includes 1/2 price wine and beer along with some selected half price appetizers. It was nice to HH there before going out to dinner, sitting by the fire sipping wine and having a snack. Pretty basic offerings, but the price was right. 2 drinks each and a shared appetizer came to $13. Ummm - how can you not say yes to that?? They also offer a few dinner options and a $20 voucher came with the living social deal, so never being ones to turn down free food we tried the nachos and the chicken green chile quesadillas. Both perfectly fine. Keep in mind though, that this is not a restaurant. It's basically a comfortable room with nice leather chairs and fireplaces on each side with several dining tables in the center. It is manned by only one waiter that we could see, and he got sort of busy every now and then. It doesn't try to be fine dining, so don't expect it to be. As for our room, clean, quiet and with a great hot shower and a nice fan a/c system. Comfy beds, working fridge. and great service.

This hotel is about 10 minutes from downtown Santa Fe, but it's really easy to navigate. They also have a shuttle available but we didn't use it since we had a rental car. Overall very happy with this experience.

This was our first trip to Santa Fe and this hotel was clean, friendly and close to everything. Since we did not know the area and were traveling at night, the close proximity to the Freeway was great. The hotel was very quiet and the beds were comfortable.

Through Living Social we booked 2 nights for $130, including hot buffet breakfast each morning, free wifi, $20. voucher towards dinner at their restaurant and a bottle of wine in our room. Very clean, uptodate, pool with spa, workout facility, friendly staff. Down the road 10 minutes is the Plaza in Santa Fe around which is great shopping, the cathedral, wonderful restaurants. Very convenient location. We weren't interested, but next door is a large factory outlet shoppng area. We'll stay here again.

We booked two nights at this hotel through a Living Social special rate, which was about $130 that included the two nights lodging, free breakfast each morning, free wireless internet, a $20 voucher towards a meal at the restaurant, and a bottle of wine that was waiting for us in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful, while the spacious room was clean and equipped with refrigerator, microwave, flat-screen TV, and the usual other amenities. The hotel is situated right next to an outlet mall, but is about five miles down the road from the Santa Fe Plaza, which was not a big deal. The hotel does offer a complimentary shuttle to the plaza between the hours of 9 AM and 6 PM, but we elected to take our own transportation, so that we could spend the whole day at the plaza. We definitely recommend this hotel to others, and will probably stay there again when we next visit Santa Fe.

We booked this through Living Social and got a great deal and because the deal sounded too good to be true we were prepared to be less than impressed. Surprise...this was even nicer than we anticipated! I confirmed our reservation the day before we arrived and was treated very respectfully on the phone. Check in was smooth and the facility was very clean. Although our room was on the small side it had everything we needed including a nice bottle of wine! The bed was wonderful, linens were so cozy we hated to get out of bed and the window even opened a bit so we could get some fresh air! The mini fridge was better than most and had a small freezer that actually worked! Our room also had a microwave and a small safe. The flat screen TV even swiveled so it could be viewed from the bed, the loveseat (even that pulled open to a bed) or even from the bathroom area. One thing we found very helpful is that the commode and shower were separate from the sink and vanity. Down the hall was a social area that had washers and dryers, tables and chairs and several vending machines (including one just for microwave food) that were all well stocked and not over priced. The hotel has a happy hour daily from 5P-7P and serves an extended breakfast buffet each morning (7A - 9A) as well as serving dinner each evening from 5P - 8P. If I had to look for something to be more critical about it would be that seating for breakfast was limited as it is in many hotels. At dinnertime we ended up taking our meals to our rooms because no seating was available at all. The food was good but it's not a true restaurant so keep that in mind. The pool was open until late which is a very welcome change from most hotels. The pool was heated and very well maintained and also had a nice sized hot tub nearby as well as a table with a fire pit. Maybe this isn't the newest or fanciest belle at the ball, but given the amenities, outstanding staff and cleanliness we'd stay here again in a heartbeat. If you're into shopping the outlet mall is a very short walk across the shared parking lot. We spent our time on Museum Hill and visited two great musems.

Room Tip: Ask for an exterior room so you don't get the pool noise.
