“Nice but Small”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2010

The "Suite" was very small. It was nice to have a full size refidgerator and small kitchen. I stayed 4 days and was OK with the beds. The blow dryer in the bathroom did not work in my room and two other rooms of friends. I was there for a Club Weekend and were told that we were getting their best rate. I had a friend arrive without a reservation and she was able to get the exact same room for $14 less. I checked into a smoking room and there were no ashtrays. Front desk brought one to my room. I could have used two. Overall it was just OK but was way to small if I had anyone else in this two double beds, it would have been too crowded.

We stayed their due to the price we found but was pleasantly surprised when we walked in. It is tight but we were going to be out doing activitie so much that we didn't need a huge space. Full frig in the kitchen was wonderful. Lots of cabinet and storage space in such a little place. Had a stand up shower with no tub so it was really tight. If you are a bigger person, that could be a problem. Location is really close to interstate, Albertson's grocery and Walgreens pharmacy. It is a 5 minute drive to plaza and north side of town. It's right down the road from Chavez Community Center which has basketball courts, huge indoor pool and extraordinary fitness center. It also has continental breakfast in the mornings. So I will definitely stay there again.

This is one of the best places we stayed during our three week trip out West. The location was a real asset-close to the Square and many good restaurants. The staff was most accommodating with our dog; even directed us to one of the best dog parks we have found in all of our travels. We loved Santa Fe and would definitely stay here if we ever come back.

not in downtown but in central location, quiet and spacious rooms with kitchenette. Good for family stay for extended period... nice walking trail next to the property that takes one in to mountains. pet friendly and laundry/ gym facilities make this place a real good value for money. jaylene, and other staff at the front desk made sure our stay was comfortable.

The Santa Fe Suites offers everything you could possibly want in a mid-range hotel. True, there are more opulent facilities. If you're looking for the "spa experience" then this isn't your type of hotel. If you're thinking of spending you monies on things other than financing a certain member of the Hilton family's ridiculous escapades than this is most DEFINATELY your kind of place. Conveniently located by far enough removed from "The Plaza" and all that it entails, you can relax comfortably, prepare your own meals, enjoy the treasure that is the Santa Fe sky at night and have an abundance of funds available to you to stroll Canyon Road, visit a casino or two, take the High Road to Taos or get lost in the wilderness of Bandelier National Monument. Everything in the room worked just fine, I felt secure on site at all times and there was simply no better value in the entire area. But like I mentioned, if pampering is your thing, go somewhere else and waste your money.

Our friend refered this hotel so we went ahead and booked online from their website and got 30% off for 3 night stay....It was a pretty good deal in an expensive city like santafe. The hotel is located on a quiet location and is more like a open property so we were not disturbed and thus slept well. During the day we were out so all we needed was a nice decent place to sleep. the rooms were clean and had kitchens which was definately an add on feature. the staff was very friendly and courteous. We will definately be back to the santa fe suites.
