“Home amenities at a great value.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

My trip to Santa Fe is for business, and I was happy to find a very clean, furnished suite at an exceptional value. It offers a kitchenette, with dishes and utensils, loveseat and a very comfortable queen size bed. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The bedspreads are actually washed and soft, unlike many places I have stayed in the past. The SF Suites is close to town as well as to I 25 and is conveniently located behind a grocery store. Their are also several restaurants in this plaza within walking distance. Pets are allowed, and no smoking within the rooms so no stale odor either. It would be nice if they had a fitness center. When I come back to SF, I will stay here again.

My family just recently stayed two nights at the Santa Fe Suites. We then drove up to Denver for a night and stayed at an expensive hotel. We went back to Santa Fe the next day and stayed another night at the Santa Fe Suites before heading home. We liked staying at the high end hotel but we felt more comfortable and relaxed at the Santa Fe Suites. We travel to Santa Fe often throughout the year and plan to stay at the Santa Fe Suites. Julieta was very nice and helpful. I would totally recommend The Santa Fe Suites. :)

I'm staying there for a week around July 4th. It's acceptable for the price and people seem friendly but its far from perfect. Bed is not great, pillow are old and especially bed cover is crappy. But no bed bugs, convenient kitchen with decent fridge, microwave and electric stove top. This said bring or buy your own pans. Theirs are very damaged Teflon. Bathroom OK. Everything a little old. Overall good for the money as I paid fifty five per night.

My wife and I stayed at Santa Fe Suites for 6 nights and thought it was great for the $$$. The Santa Fe Suites are very reasonably priced for a suite, with great service and a friendly staff. We will stay there again when in Santa Fe. The location was good for us too and they are pet friendly to boot. Grace was behind the counter when we checked out and she was very nice, thank Grace.

No problems checking in or out. Room was spacious, bathroom a little cramped. Carpet a bit musty but that's about it. Room clean enough and the surrounding area felt clean, quiet and safe. Breakfast was complimentary but not a lot to choose from and everything was quite sugary. Old style TV in the room but Wifi worked great. Supermarket close by, did not really use the kitchen. They don't place a hold on your credit card and parking was free.

Stayed here 1 night knowing it is a budget stay but still expecting a clean room etc. Room cleanliness very ordinary, hair in bathroom etc. TV remote chewed by dog, toilet not even attached to floor securely. The biggest turnoff is the fact that a lot of the suites are rented by long term people with dogs. There is Dog excrement everywhere outside the rooms along the pathway and grass areas. Obviously the renters with pets don't care nor do management. If you like the site of "poop park" first thing in the morning this place is for you! Even for the $$ I wouldn't stay again try another budget stay. You have been warned.

Where do I start? We opted to stay here after our first night in a cabin up the hill was overheated and inconvenient. The Santa Fe Suites were formerly called the Camel Rock Suites and they're situated at the rear of a mall which means convenient walking distance to an Albertson's supermarket, Walgreens and other stores of necessity.

Our room had a kitchenette, equipped with dishwasher (we did not use it), cutlery, microwave, coffee maker, fridge/freezer, queen bed, coffee table, love seat, TV, free WIFI and of course bathroom.

We were charged $59 a night (special internet rate) and the host advised that most places in Santa Fe put their prices up during peak season, but their rates are the same. They offer discounts for extended stays. There is a full laundry facility on site (self-service).

This is less like a hotel and more like a very small apartment. An included continental breakfast is included in the price and is also delicious.

I fully recommend this establishment for singles, couples, families and groups. One suite is suitable for 2 people, unless you opt for a suite with a sleeper sofa. We did ask about a crib, but they don't have them. Luckily, we had our own portable one.

Room Tip: If you have a toddler or baby that requires a crib, please do not rely on the suites to provide you...
