“Central and Comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013

We stayed for 6 nights in late October. Breakfast and lunch in Luminaria restaurant were excellent and the staff were very pleasant and efficient. Our room was very spacious with a very comfortable 4 poster bed. However, despite the large room there was almost no storage space in the bedroom and we thought it was very peculiar that the wardrobe was in the bathroom!! Not only that but the wardrobe had very awkward folding doors immediately behind the bathroom door. There was hardly any shelf space in the small bathroom although there were 2 wash basins. We were not too keen on the communal balcony either with other guests walking past our room. On the plus side the room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The air conditioning unit was noisy. We enjoyed the shops in the hotel complex. The location was great for exploring downtown Santa Fe.

Room Tip: Rooms facing pool were quiet

I stayed here for 4 nights to attend a convention. Check is was painless. Room was okay. A little strange layout with the wardrobe in the bathroom. A small balcony to sit on was good. Restaurant was good. The service in the bar area was poor but on the plus they appear to forget to bill you for half the drinks ordered. Good position in the middle of Santa Fe. Overall average.

We live in Santa Fe and have stayed at the Loretto and eaten at the restaurant several times on special occasions. The rooms are very well appointed, decorated in excellent taste and classic modern style, the staff is extremely accommodating and the spa is 1st class. This is the only hotel in Santa Fe that we highly recommend to guests visiting from out of town who want to experience all that downtown Santa Fe offers.

The staff deserves a lot of credit for making our stay a lovely in-state get-away. Friendly and knowledgeable at check in, a helpful concierge, and prompt attention on a small plumbing problem. The hotel is beautiful and is a showcase for all the things that people love about Santa Fe. Our room was great, overlooking both the Lorretto Chapel and the cathedral. A huge patio invited us outside even in the late October afternoon to check out the view. This hotel falls into the "big splurge" category, so we were a bit surprised at the size of the parking fee and at the obligatory "hotel services" fee which added over $30 to each night's stay. The services referred to included use of the business center, morning newspaper and coffee, and a couple of other things. I'm sure more sophisticated travelers are used such add-ons. I'm more of a country mouse.

Room Tip: Room 441 has a great outdoor patio. I think the fourth floor rooms are more likely to have patios.

We arrived and were greeted and congratulated us on our marriage earlier in the day. We went up to find our room with a western view like we asked. The sunset was amazing. We made reservations for dinner at the Luminaria restaurant. When we got to dinner we were again greeted. Brought to our table and there were rose petals on our table. Took care of every detail.
The rooms were very nice, nice furniture, comfortable bed, fireplace, great balcony. The room was very quiet. All around comfortable and relaxing. The price in higher than average but well worth it. The staff is very friendly and personable. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Just tell them what you are looking for and they will do their best to accommodate. We wanted a bal...

This was our fourth stay at the Inn and it was wonderful. The service is the best - friendly and helpful; our room was lovely and was made up promptly when we went out for breakfast. One night (after the ghost walk) we had dinner in the warm and inviting lobby bar and the food was delicious. The location is perfect - close to the square and to Canyon Road. Can't wait to come back to Santa Fe and to the Inn at Loretto.

Staying at this hotel is a relaxing spot in a busy day. From the moment you drive up until the moment you leave you are pampered and treated royally--even if you don't take advantage of the spa! The artwork in the courtyard and all over the hotel is beautiful. My room was very comfy and the bed was like crawling into a big pillow! Everything was clean and beautiful and the staff is very friendly and ready to help in any way. I love staying at the Loretto!
