“Santa Fe's Best Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2011

We stayed at the Inn & Spa at Loretto Nov 4th while attending a Wine Dinner at the hotel. I had won attendance to the dinner thru an online contest and was also given a complimentary nights' lodging. Upon check-in we were greeted warmly and upgraded to a Jr. Suite. It was a beautiful room with a comfy king bed, sitting area with fireplace, sofa, 2 large chairs and a private patio. The Trefethen Wine Dinner, just one of the many events in which the hotel is involved, exceeded expectations. It was held in the hotel's Luminaria Restaurant. The food and service were excellent!

The Inn of Loretto is an all around great hotel. It is beautifully decorated, only one block from the Plaza and has the most accommodating staff. The Lobby hosts a bar with plenty of sitting area and a grand fireplace. Complimentary coffee each morning and delicious food in the Luminaria restaurant. My last account is that it is pet friendly as well.
We have chosen it for past trips to Santa Fe and highly recommend it for everyone!

Room Tip: All rooms that we have stayed in were quiet and comfortable.

my wife and son and I had the great pleasure of staying at the Loretto in Santa Fe on Oct 14th and 15th this year. From the moment of checking in where we were greeted so warmly to experiencing the fantastic ambience and the interface with every single employee whom we had dealt with left us with such a feeling of contentment.
We left with the thought that "yea, thats the way a 5* hotel should be"
We plan on returning to Santa Fe many times in the future as we have family there now. You can be assured we will stay at the Loretto.

Selected the Inn at Loretta because of a bargain promotion. Found it to be a superb location for walking around old town Santa Fe, close to the Guadalupe Cafe for breakfast as well at the Loretto Chapel and the town square, plus many other attractions. Concierge Mary Thomas went "above and beyond" to help us get reasonably priced tickets for sympony concert "Beethoven Marathon" as well as helping us with daily itineraries each day and great restaurant suggestions. Her enthusiasm for the city, its restaurants, and art was contagious! She was the epitome of what a concierge should be.

Lobby bar was a very pleasant place to relax in the evening after coming back from dinner. Comfortable seating, warm ambiance, fireplace and beamed ceiling.

Our room was rather small and furnishings were dark, but it was nicely decorated and patio doors opening onto a large second floor patio provided light as well as access to outdoors from our room. When my husband stepped in gum and accidently dragged it into our room, the maid service promptly and satisfactorily cleaned it up.

Pool area was pleasant and attractive; we enjoyed a few hours lounging there late one afternoon.

Restaurant looked beautiful, but we chose to select restaurants out in the town.

All in all, we had a great stay at this hotel and at good value; we would definitely stay there again because of this positive experience and also because of its prime location.

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint, high quality inn in Santa Fe. It is conveniently located to all downtown destinations with easy walking either to the square or back on Canyon Road and the many art studios. The front desk and valet were excellent in terms of service. The lobby area is comfortable and good for socializing or just waiting. Luminaria's is a very good restaurant at the hotel, much better than many hotel restaurants. The room was good but at least on the 4th floor, it was surprisingly humid whether we had the A/C or the heat on and we used both.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 4th floor. There are views to the outside through a door but few windows due to th...

We had an excellent experience at the Inn and Spa at Loretto. All personnel were very
friendly and helpful and our room was very spacious. We had our own balcony with
excellent views of the city. We will definitely be returning.

Room Tip: I'm not familiar with rooms other than the one we were in, but I doubt there is a bad room in...

We loved our stay here. Large room with king size bed, sofa, desk, flat screen tv, and beautiful decor. Lovely bar area with fireplace and delicious food in restaurant. Also a great location for exploring the cit on foot.

A year later my wife is still talking about our 4-night stay at the Inn at Loretto. A stunning property in a perfect location, and it was a fine family setting -- classy and grown-up but accepting and appropriate for our well-behaved 9-year-olds. ... This was our first trip to New Mexico and we absolutely loved it. We can't wait to return!
