“Incredible Santa Fe Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

The location of this hotel is perfect! If you want a place to stay and you are looking for the ultimate Santa Fe experience I highly recommend staying here. You can walk to the square and Canyon Road where all of the art galleries are and great restaurants are. We love the Shed (good sign was that every plate was clean when they were done eating), it was our favorite meal on our trip - considering we loved them all! From the moment of check in to the bar/restaurant experience we had top notch service. The property is beautiful and you can't beat the fact that we had our own adobe fire place that we made fire in - soooo fun! The fitness center is nice, but I recommend just heading out on the sidewalks - exploring the town. There is so much history in a very small amount of space, so enjoy the scenery and history - there is no place like it we have ever been!

Been coming for years but service continues to decline. Housekeeping showed up at 5pm, while we are are dressing for Opera, to clean room. Getting nails done at spa was a disaster; overpriced for poor service, and then wanted to automatically add 20%.

If something does not charge, we will not be staying here next year. Sad, because this should be a wonderful property.

I was excited to stay in the Luxury Collection hotel but came away with mixed thoughts. The staff wa sincredibly helpful and friendly, the property design was unique and fit the area and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The restaurant offered good food at reasonable prices. They also have a nice but secluded business center. I had two major complaints. If I went back, and I would stay there again, I would INSIST that I not stay in rooms 100, 101, 102 or 103, as they are literally above the bar. As such noise permeates into the aforementioned rooms making sleep difficult. I actually heard a patron ask a friend if he wants his drink with water or soda. Fortunately my wife had ear plugs as they are a must. My second complaint is that our room clearly needs an updating and cleaning. The carpet had several large stains and the bathroom fixtures do not provide adequate lighting.

Traveling xcountry to visit family in AZ. Lucked into a cheap rate and decided to stay. Glad we did! Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and so quiet! Big comfy bed and towels. Plus they anticipated what we would need and provided it. Wish we were staying longer

The staff is excellent. Ask anyone where something was and they could direct you to it. Concierge people were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The main desk people were also helpful with a couple of small issues. The food was good and in line with a property of this caliber. My only complaints (very small ones) were that the Wi-Fi system was hard to log into and we kept getting kicked off unexpectedly from time to time. This happened on several devices. I was there for a meeting and on one day,we had to use a room with no door. This was not good, since we were discussing confidential information. The staff tried to help us with this problem as much as they could, but the meeting rooms were all booked and this was our only option. Overall, it was a very good experience and I would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Leave the window shades up when you are gone for the day. The cleaning staff is sensitive to not dis...

I took my parents on a quick trip to Santa Fe. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at La Posada. Our room was beautiful with comfortable beds, big fluffy comforters and luxury towels. We loved the big comfy robes to just lounge and relax. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They were very helpful at recommendations and reminding us about their property events. Which led us to enjoy Margarita Monday's!!! Free margaritas for everyone!! We had breakfast in the restaurant and it was delicious. Fresh healthy ingredients. A perfect place to relax and just a short walk to the plaza! We will definitely be back!!

We had a wonderful stay at La Posada de Santa Fe. From the moment we walked in the door we were provided with exceptional service. Morgan at the front desk shared her recommedations on local restaurants. We loved Vinaigrette and The Shed. Our room was comfortable and clean. We were not in it much as we were enjoying the pool, spa, hotel bar and walking around the town. If we could have we would have extended our stay.
Just loved every minute of it!!

Room Tip: We liked being by the pool and fitness center.
