“Would come here again and again.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2012

Al was a welcome host as we arrived late in the evening. Our room was the perfect size with a nice, gas log fireplace placed up high in the corner of the room so we could view it from the bed. Furnishings nice with a down comforter that was almost too warm. Very tasty breakfast of omelettes & waffles & coffee drinks made to order each morning in addition to a breakfast bar loaded with breads, fruit, juices, cereals, etc. Easy walk to plaza. Just right.

I love Santa Fe and have made a pilgrimage to the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum every year for the past seven or so years. This was (by far) my best hotel experience in Santa Fe. We reserved a Studio Suite with Fireplace at a great price and were disappointed when we arrived that it was a gas (not real logs) fireplace. One phone call to the front desk and Gabriel came right over and gave us a CHOICE of three other rooms saying over and over that he wanted us to be happy. Gabriel also helped us choose a restaurant for dinner, called the complimentary shuttle and walked outside and waited with us for the shuttle. The museum was in walking distance. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and had pressure, the towels and shampoo/soap were very good. The breakfast was the BEST and included not only the usual continental items but also made-to-order (not make-it-yourself) waffles and omelettes. Fresh coffee, espresso, lattes and cappuccino are available (free) not only for breakfast but any time, served with a smile (and cookies) at the front desk.

Room Tip: Arrive on the early side and ask to see a couple of rooms so you get what you want.

Staff greated us and was eager to upgrade my room when I said it was just me and my daughter. I didnt need a upgrade, but ok. I got to view the suite accomodations (living area and kitchenette). We soon discovered no TV in room. ( they seemed clueless of no TV ) maybe someone stole it. They gave us another room It was very clean and quaint! Loved it. We loved the Sante fe style old world charm.Colorful and sweet. Refrig in the closet with coffee maker. The coffee was not to bad, but no creamer ( probably a oversite) . The remote did not turn on air conditioner, which didnt need other than just wanted to run fan for air flow and noise. We could hear people upstairs, but thats part of casitas construction. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, friendly staff clean room and close to downtown. The breakfast was great.. I am picky eater when it comes to quality of food. Fresh made waffles were light and buttery with real blueberries and Real butter, cook to order omeletts GREAT COFFEE!! Also breads fresh and high quality and I noticed pastries were freshly made, not from package from grocery store( that taste like perservatives). I was very impressed with breakfast.Fruit yogurts and cerals available too. Propery clean and groomed. I also look for properties that have a noon checkout if I need it. 11 am makes me feel rushed ( even if I plan on leaving at 11) I will return to this hotel.

stayed here two nights, and found it was an easy couple of blocks walk to the plaza. We also walked to a couple of restaurants. the bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was stocked with dishes and dinnerware. We tried the fireplace but didn't have much luck getting a fire going. Fortunately the AC/Heater worked great. The desk staff were friendly and helpful and we were impressed with the places to eat they recommended. we did enjoy the breakfast buffet and the eggs to order. Really great location and a pleasant experience overall. Would definitely stay here again.

What a great location! Las Palomas consists of some 60 casitas scattered about the area of West San Francisco Street. Ours was fabulous, with some kitchen conveniences, two rooms each with tv, a lovely Southwestern theme, and more. The lobby provided a constant supply of homemade cookies and cider. The breakfast room was quite literally built around a tree -amazing. waffles or omelets were made to order, or you could feast on homemade blueberry muffins, fruit, or a whole range of continental items. This place offers amazing amenities, all within the room price. Would go back in a flash!

Very quaint South-Western style rooms with fireplaces and all the accessories to remind you you're in New Mexico. The rooms need a little paint touch-up here and there, but it's hard not to get engrossed in the charm and relaxing ambiance and kick back to enjoy the setting.

Some of the inclusive features are good - free parking (compared with $10/day in others), a pretty decent included breakfast and relatively fast wireless Internet. The front desk service is extremely helpful and the style is much more friendly and informal than many regular hotels.

This is a great location to stay if you're planning to be in downtown Santa Fe. It reminds me of what I like so much about the area.

Room Tip: The general store room is very large and esoteric.

This is not your normal hotel stay. Very unique rooms arranged in a unique way in old Santa Fe. They advertise a continental breakfast, but it is far more and is very good. Bed was great, fireplace and Pinon wood, kitchen, everything combined for the best hotel stay I have ever experienced. My wife and I stayed in a Pueblo (one room, king bed, kitchen, fireplace, etc) and it was very comfortable. We went back early in the evenings just to spend time in our room.
