“Chic and Convenient”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2014

It was very refreshing to stay at a major hotel in Santa Fe. Normally, we book historic inns and B&Bs which often lack room space. This Hilton is most convenient to the plaza and its nice not to have to try to park the car on the plaza. The clerk who checked us in was charming and we felt "seen" by him and especially welcomed. Our room was wonderful in design and amenities. It overlooked the swimming pool. Perhaps the most interesting thing was that the price for our room was equivalent to a "shabby chic" inn we might have stayed at……for which there was no comparison as the hotel is chic sans shabby. (The rooms were all remodeled last year)

Room Tip: ask for a pool view room.

Most attractive hotel and excellent front desk staff. Building is on an historic site and there is a gallery of photos of old Santa Fe. Walk to the plaza and local artisan shops. Rooms are very comfortble and well appointed.

Room Tip: Book a walk out room on the lower level and enjoy the most relaxing pool and spa area ever. Sit by t...

This was my first visit to this location. I was surprised that it is a historic property with fresh renovated rooms. Despite the fact that I am a HHonors member, I would suggest a stay here even if I was not part of the program when considering that there are many boutique properties nearby. Clean, walkable, fresh, and character would describe my stay.

Great Team and awesome location and stay, If you just need a quiet getaway to a large scale meeting or event, this hotel will take it up a notch! June was a great time of year to travel here, weather was in the mid 80's and sunny.

We stayed here for 1 night of our honeymoon. We were upgraded to one of their amazing suites which was like a little villa. Our own front door, chairs to sit outside, living room area with beautiful working fireplace, sofas, huge table and chairs, large bed, large TVs in both rooms, huge walk in shower and tub. We've stayed in some nice Hilton hotels but this was our favourite room, second only to Venice maybe!

They kindly sent us chocolate dipped strawberries and champagne on the house.

The pool area was lovely with a nice hot tub. Used the fitness suite too, small but had all you need including headphones, TV, water and towels.

Plenty of parking. Good location in town.

Only let down was breakfast which was a little disappointing. Very small selection and not very tasty.

We had an over all wonderful stay at the Santé Fe Hilton. Our room was clean and fresh smelling which means a lot to people that have driven all day. They need to have more signage available. They were hard to find. We were use to seeing signs on the Interstate Highway and we did not see any. Other than the shortage of advertisement, we had looked 2 hours and finally found the Hilton, we were very pleased with its cleanliness and location. We would stay there again. We have stayed at the Hilton Santa Fe many times in the past. It never fails to satisfy our needs. We love this hotel just a couple of blocks from the plaza. It is beautifully decorated and the staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommend for couples and business.
