“Slept so well!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2014

We stayed just for one night for a quick getaway. We loved our bedding so much we asked what kind of pillows we had so we could shop for them when we got home. Loved that it was so close to the plaza too. I highly recommend staying here!! Basic room had great coffee, a safe for belongings, a great lounge area for reading, and simply great ambiance. Beautiful room!!

My husband and I enjoyed walking all around Santa Fe from this hotel. We took a wonderful walking tour of the city that left from the hotel at 9:35 am. We did not need our car as everything was quick walk away. My only complaint about the hotel was it had a little cozy bar area but they kept the lights so bright for late night relaxing that we didn't want to stay and ended up at the hotel across the street to have a nightcap and sit by the fire. The hot tub was right outside our room and I was disappointed that we didn't remember our swimsuits. The weather was cold but the hot tub looked very inviting! I would definately recommend a stay at this nice Hilton property! Beware, they charge for parking, although if you are a member of Hilton Honors they reduce it to half price....still a hefty $8 per day.

Room Tip: The rooms on the inside overlook the pool and spa area. There is also a refrigerator in the room wh...

People made us to fell really appreciated. Their suggestions about food (restaurants) and sightseeing were outstanding. Marcela is the best concierge ever! Every night worth it! We visit Taos pueblo and travel around with the map and the advice that the concierge gave us. We have food in two amazing restaurants all suggested by people in the front desk

barking DOG was placed next to my room. The DOG whined and barked, yet to solve the problem I was TOLD to move. I asked three times for the issue to be resolved and even that the manager was to contact. The manager NEVER contacted I needed to have a terrible stay - since wasn't going to move. The inetresting part is that only 50% of the hotel was sold - so why not place the DOG in a secluded area - ohhh wait - Hilton needed to make 50.00 dollars from the DOG.

The customer service in this hotel was excellant. Everything was very clean. Walking distance to the square in Santa Fe. The restaurant food and bar was very good and I would go back to dine there. The executive lounge was unattended. It provided plenty of beverages but no alcohol served. This is a good hotel if you want to take your dog, but if you don't like to stay where dogs are allowed, I would suggest you stay somewhere else. I took my little Bichon, and he whined when we left the room. It upset the man next door who didn't like dogs, and I observed his behavior as he raised his voice to the staff at the counter. They did offer to move him, but he refused and wanted us to move.

The hotel is in excellent conditions since it has been refurbished and updated. We had a great experience at the hotel and appreciate its location near the square. The restaurant provides great food at a reasonable price.

Our stay was pleasant, albeit not to Hilton Standards. Room was clean and the bed comfortable; staff was friendly and helpful;food surprisingkly good. Lobby was major disappointment, closere to Hampton Inn than Hilton. No fireplace, no bar, too small, too cold. No sundries shop, just a vending center. Definitely not to Hilton standards.

Thank you for your comments...although they may be for another hotel?

The Hotel does have not 1 but 3 wood burning fireplaces one of which is in the lobby? Additionally the Lobby area has a beautifully remodeled and updated Pantry for our guests use. In that you mentioned a vending area ... and our hotel does not have any vending areas I am wondering if this review was for the Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza (downtown Santa Fe) or perhaps another Hilton in our area. We do have a wonderful, comfortable lobby, with a large fireplace and a large Pantry for our guests use.
