“Beautiful but pricey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

We stayed here for one night. It's a beautiful hotel extra clean and comfortable but there's one big reason I would not stay here again. The bathroom has a heavy, thick sliding door mounted on the outside that when you finally get it pulled in front of the doorway it sits out two inches. No privacy at all. No fans. No water bottles which I think would be nice at the price. Friendly staff but too many other choices

This hotel is within walking distance of Plaza and convenient to drive to most of popular tourist spots. Room was clean and your typical four star hotel. The only way to get dinner , however, is in the bar and food were very mediocre and table was not clean and service was slow.It is too bad that they also charge parking.

Stayed here for a 3-day business conference and was impressed with the amenities. Room was very nice and beds were comfortable. Our group had some specific needs and the hotel was very accommodating in meeting those needs. Walking distance to central Santa Fe is an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

As stated in the title, this hotel has a great location. It is close to the center of the city, but also convenient enough to routes going elsewhere that taking a day trip is easy (part of what makes Santa Fe so great is the access to northern NM, IMO). The rooms have recently been redone and they did a good job. Apparently now they do close the pool and fire pit at 10:00 every night. I have stayed here twice now, and the sign does say this, but my last stay they rather rudely kicked out my wife, her friend, and I, and a wedding party exactly at 10:00 on a Saturday night, when we were all being mindful to be really quiet. I guess I would recommend that they extend the time to 11:00 on weekends. This was a bit annoying for we had no place to go and it was a beautiful night.

Amazing historic hotel steps from the plaza. Book a room facing the pool for a quiet stay. The nicest bathroom I have seen in a hotel to date. Outdoor fireplace seating area was the perfect spot to end a day of sightseeing. Lots of local art in the hotel common areas and in the room gives a nice touch.

Perry, the desk clerk was the best that any hotel has to offer. The washing machine broke and they didn't have any towels and the help acted as if it had been that way for a couple of days. You couldn't get any coffee in lobby after 630 am as they expected you to buy from restaurant. Good location but I would say save your money and come to town and pay for parking, as Hilton charges what they do for parking.

A very nice experience. Being near the center of the city allowed us to walk to all the sites and to every restaurant we visited. The room was large, well-decorated, and very clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Never have liked to pay for parking, but that is common in hotels close to the center of cities. Sitting by the fireplace by the pool gave us the opportunity for enjoyable conversations with other pleasant guests. Would have liked free coffee in the lobby, but again that is not a common practice in Hilton hotels. The best compliment is that we wished we had planned our stay a day longer.
