We searched for a good value close to town. We found a deal online for Santa Fe Sage. "Stay 2 nights and get the 3rd free". You must mention the third night free ad to get this deal. The room was decent, small. But we were really just using this as a base while we went off each day to see museums and sights. There is a nice continental "make your own waffle" type breakfast with some other choices such as hard boiled eggs, oatmeal or fruit or yogurt or muffins. Coffee and juice or hot chocolate available too. It was great to have breakfast ready each morning. There is a shuttle service to the Plaza that runs until 8:00pm each day but we walked to and from each day and it was good exercise. We are in our 50's and it was no problem. The Plaza is about 9/10ths of a mile away. Larry, in the office, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
