Great location. Great rooms. Great breakfast. We have stayed at this location several times and each time we have had a very good experience. The employees are always willing to provide assistance and answer any questions.

We arrived on Christmas Eve and were greeted by a warm welcome with chocolates and sugar biscuits. The room had everything we needed (love the chilli pepper garlands around the balconies and stair wells) and the courtesy bus to see the farolitos was very much appreciated - with the traffic we could never have done it by car. For the price and location, the Sage Inn is unbeatable.

We have stayed here a couple of times now. It is a great value for the price. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Bathrooms are small, but clean and functional. The breakfast could use a little more variety, but it is nice to have breakfast provided as part of the price. It's nice to find a place that is close to downtown that doesn't cost a fortune. Give it a try.

They did not price match...the heater was loud and the room had an odor..but it was close to places and it was New Years eve..so what do you expect? I did like the location and hammered tin....the staff was friendly..if not helpful

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. Please let me apologize for the fact that we did not live up to your expectations. Please know that we "price match" any of our comparable competitors or any third party online booking sites. Again I apologize if there was a miscommunication about this when you were booking a room. There is always a manager available in the event that the reservation process or room does not suit the need of our guests. Again and again our staff receive great feedback about how friendly and helpful they are. I am not sue why your experience was not the same but I would appreciate the opportunity to speak about that with you personally; if you would care to contact me at 505-982-5952.

We've stayed at the Sage a few times now on our overnight trips to Santa Fe - we like heading up for the night to go out for a nice dinner in the plaza area and not having to worry about having to drive afterwards. They have a shuttle service to/from the plaza but unless the weather is bad we always just walk as it's really not far at all.

Sure, rooms are maybe a tad small and it's a bit of an older place but the service is excellent and the value for your money is hard to beat.

I stayed there for 4 nights . Charming reception desk appointed in a cozy Mexican style living rooms with cucumber drink refreshment . upon check in I got a room at downstairs which I heard the food slept on top of my head from up stair . So I asked the f desk to move my rooms to up stair which they did . Room and bath room is particularly small but they do pay attention to small details such as providing facial cleaning towel on daily basic with some organic amenities . B'fast was ok ,nothing special . It has an advantage of walking distance to Artist weekend Market and to some nice restaurant and bar. A friendly staff .Santa Fe is a magical place.

Room Tip: Don't take down stair and room near to the parking place

Warmth and hospitality, plenty of freebies, cleanliness and convenience—this is a wonderful hotel for pets, singles, families with kids and and the owners (locally based) continue to upgrade the rooms while maintaining the reputation as the "most affordable downtown hotel." Free shuttle, gym, laundry, WIFI, parking and full European style breakfast as well as 24 hour coffee and tea.

Even my pug was given VIP treatment (ground floor rooms designated as pet friendly) and offered a selection of sample size premium dog foods courtesy of nearby pet boutique, Zoe and Guido (a must visit).

The staff is uniformly professional, courteous and responsive. I look forward to my next stay!

Room Tip: If you're a light sleeper, you might prefer a second floor room.
