“Love Love Loved it!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

We had a lovely experience here. Rooms were very decent and clean. Location is perfect, minutes away from the Plaza. Hotel offers free shuttles every hour to the Plaza which i thought was fantastic. The breakfast was simply superb. It was warm cosy breakfast area with waffles, cereals, juices, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. And you could have free coffee/tea/hot chocolate all day. We felt like home. The staff was very kind and welcoming.

An easy, pleasant walk into the Old Town from here

You pass a most wonderful bakery (Sage Bakehouse - we can thoroughly recommend their coffee and almond croissants) on the way in to the centre

The motel is right next to a huge Wholefoods supermarket and across the road from the delightful Santa Fe Railroad Park which is worth visiting

Enjoy a clean, convenient, Motel 6 type room with a warm shower, comfortable bed, excellent service, and a yummy breakfast. Striped bed coverings Was the only color in the room. Pet friendly but it was difficult to find grass. There was a park across the busy street.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. I am glad to hear that The Santa Fe Sage Inn met your expectations. Please note that there is a small green space behind the hotel that is great for dogs. I am sorry that our staff did not point that out to you as I know it can be difficult to cross the large intersection to The Railyard Park. Also, I wanted to let you know that we are upgrading some of our rooms and adding a splash of color. I am sure you will notice a difference during your next stay with us.

Stayed 2 nights with a Living Social deal for $99. Rooms are updated from a basic Motel 6. They are small, yet clean & comfy beds. Included was a free breakfast, fresh to make waffles, bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit & coffee/juice machine. It was too chilly to use the pool. Great friendly staff!

Will stay again if coming with family & recommend it for anyone.

Three of us stayed in a double room over the holidays. The location was good and the room was very clean. Some reviewers say the rooms are small but I thought it was fairly typical size for being a motel. The beds and pillows were very comfortable (maybe too soft for some). I understand that Santa Fe can be very expensive, and this motel is probably one of the more affordable (but still clean and comfortable) options.

One thing - the front counter staff could use some etiquette lessons. I heard them badmouthing a customer as soon as he left the check-in room, but I was still there (maybe it was deserved, maybe not, but most customer service employees know to at least do this in private and out of customer's hearing).

Room Tip: If you are of limited mobility, be sure to ask for a downstairs room, since I didn't see an elev...

My family (husband and two boys,13 & 11) stayed here as an over night trip on our way to Red River. It was clean, the decor was welcoming and it was in a great location. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. My children enjoyed the make your own waffles. The room was a little tight when it came to space but it was just for one night. The shuttle was a bonus and the driver was friendly. We would stay here again!

Room Tip: There is a "Whole Foods Market" just next door to stock up on snacks.

Beautiful breakfast and very helpful staff, walking distance to major areas. Shuttle service and on bus route, clean comfy beds with huge gardens. Value for money and good after service evaluation. Lots of parking for cars, and shady trees.
