“Very Nice B & B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2006

We stayed at the El Farolito B & B for one night in late October. It was excellent and we would definitely stay there again when in Santa Fe. It is located in a quiet area about a 5-10 min walk from the center of Santa Fe. The room and dining area were nicely decorated to reflect the Southwest. Afternoon snacks were provided (very good) and the breakfast which would meet all tastes was ample and excellent. The innkeeper was very pleasant and helpful. We had a problem with our own computer and needed access to a direct line or wireless and were allowed to use the line of the inn's computer located in the public lounge area. We would highly recommend this Inn. You will not be disappointed.

The people who run this charming B&B are genuine and welcoming and make you feel at home instantly. They enjoy what they do and this translates into their lovely accomodations. The room was wonderful, quaint and very comfy. We lit a fire in the fireplace that roared for hours. The breakfast was to-die-for, a kieche of yukon gold potatoes, onions and green chile with melted cheese on top! A great way to start the day. That along with a fruit platter, robust flavorful coffee, home baked cake/muffins, yogurt and cereal plus more! We really enjoyed our stay and will be back if we are back in Santa Fe. Danna, the innkeeper, rocks!

We had a very pleasant experience at the El Farolito B&B in Santa Fe. Our casita, Delgado, was very nicely decorated, extremely clean, comfortable and private. We had our own little patio.
Dana, our hostess, was an extremely nice, very interesting and most helpful lady. She answered all of our questions about sights to see, places to eat and directions to everywhere we wanted to go.
The Bed and Breakfast is in a perfect location to walk to the plaza. You can be there and to all the nearby attractions and shopping in just a few minutes.
The breakfasts were served in a colorful, comfortable, quaint dining room.
Based on our experience we recommend this B&B to anyone planning a trip to Santa Fe. We will definitely return.

We recently spent six nights at El Farolito and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Fe. The furniture, fabrics, art work, decor, are beautiful! We stayed in Casita Galisteo and the Santa Fe suite and loved both. Each was private, very clean, with tons of natural light, extremely comfortable beds and quality sheets. Free, secure on-site parking too. Wayne and Dana are fonts of information about everything from restaurants, to hiking, to Spanish Colonial history if you are interested and unobtrusive if you are not. Breakfast was somehow both healthy and decadent. Yogurts, granola, cereals, freshly baked cakes, breads, scones, hot entree... each morning. The coffee (3 different varieties) and juices were superb. And the fresh fruit plate!--individually sliced and prepared each morning for each guest. The attention to detail at El Farolito is exceptional. We loved it and you will too.

Dropped in to see the rooms- saw two that were available - both very nice! We chose the King suite with fireplace- without a doubt the nicest room we have stayed in during this trip to NM! Beautiful large bed with quality sheets and pillow top- an electric fireplace in the bedroom and decor that was beautiful and very tasteful.
The whole B & B is gated at night- with a cluster of adobe casitas within, yet within walking distance of the plaza and restaurants.
Breakfast was incredible and included a mushroom souffle', individual fruit plates with about 8 different fruits, along with various breads and muffins that tasted homemade.
This inn owners know how to do things right!

At every level, this inn showed much attention to detail. The inn was impeccably clean and beautifully designed and decorated in the southwestern Santa Fe style. Each room felt like a well lived in home attended by the best interior designers. The owners and concierge were friendly and helpful with our tourist questions and were extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of the Santa Fe, Taos and Albuquerque area. The housekeeping staff was courteous as well. Each day, the breakfast was a work of art, with an array of healthy, home-cooked dishes, fruits and breads. We will tell all our family and friends that this is where they must stay when they visit Santa Fe.

Myself and 3 girls had our annual "girl's trip" in Santa Fe from July 27-30. We stayed here due the high recomendation as well as the fact they had two adjoining rooms. The place was exquisite! Wayne (owner) was so gracious and Ruth (housekeeper) brought wine glasses to our room daily. The breakfast was yummy & healthy (I still wish I could get someone to make me a fresh fruit plate every day at home!) The rooms were beautifully decorated and the "cushy" beds were 'to die for." They have great recommendations for things to do/places to eat and will make reservations for you. They are a couple of blocks from the plaza - easy walking. Nothing negative to report in any way! Enjoy your stay!
