“The highlight of our entire trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Up until our arrival, our trip had been plagued by one disaster after another. Staying at El Farolito was like being welcomed into the home of a good friend in the middle of a natural disaster. The accommodations were lovely, the service was great and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our stay there was the highlight of our entire trip.

Loved our stay at El Farolito. Beautiful surroundings in a quiet setting. We enjoyed the breakfast. Rooms were spotless. Staff was knowledgeable in assisting us with shopping/dining questions. We liked the security system. And the private patio. Great stay for our first time in San Antonio.

The location of the bed and breakfast made the El Farolito a good place to stay. In 10 minutes, you can be downtown close to the Plaza or at the railway yards.

The breakfast was very nice. Good coffee, fresh fruit and baked goods. There is also a hot breakfast item but I didn't try any because they all had meat - no vegetarian options.

We stayed in a room with one of the private patios which was nice but we were on the street front which at times was noisy with traffic depending on the day and hour.

We also learned that the Inn doesn't recycle plastics which was disappointing to learn.

This Inn was even more charming than it looked on the internet. Separate little Adobe houses, some with a private patio and some connected by a shared courtyard. All are beautifully appointed with quality amenities. Breakfast was amazing..fresh fruit... juices...a hot dish and plenty of home baked goodies.
Wayne and Sherie(I believe that was her name) were a wealth of information. Close enough to walk to the square and great coffee shops but far enough away for it to be quiet.
We loved our stay here and should we return to Sante Fe, we would stay here again !
LOVED IT !

Room Tip: We stayed in the Galisteo room...it was a separate little house. Small but had a private patio and a...

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary. It was a very pleasant stay. We stayed in two different rooms and they were both clean, comfortable, quiet and appointed in a southwestern style. The breakfast area was very colorful and felt like we were in New Mexico. We ate four breakfasts there, and they were all different and all good. The coffee wasn't quite as strong as I like it but it was passable. We met one of the owners and one of the staff. Both were very friendly and helpful. The owner knew a good bit about the local pottery and gave us several recommendations of things to do which were very helpful. As an added benefit, Restaurant Martin is right next door. It is really a great place to eat.

First trip to Santa Fe - with friends for anniversaries. Beautiful B&B just a 5min walk from the city center. Rooms are appointed with high-end furnishings and the beds are wonderful. The hosts - Wayne & Walt were friendly & doubled as tour guides for the area. Every recommendation they made was a winner! Breakfasts were also top notch with wonderful breads, fruits, & hot dishes. We would not hesitate to stay here (& Five Kuchinas - their other property) again. They even made provisions for our late (2am) arrival due to flight delays!

Room Tip: All rooms that we saw were beautiful & comparable. The hosts were helpful in describing the ava...

This is a top Santa Fe destination. We have been to Santa Fe 12 summers for the opera and have found El Farolito an incredibly warm and professionally run inn.

The room was excellent, the breakfasts outstanding and the warmth of our hosts Wayne and Walt contribute to the extraordinary ratings. The proprietors went the extra steps to provide information that make one's vacation stellar.
