I've stayed at this location three times as part of a guy's golf trip. The staff is friendly, professional, and very responsive to the needs of our group. The property is well-maintained and very comfortable. I haven't experienced the weekday evening meals, but the breakfast on weekends is wonderful. Guests also have use of the facilities at the adjacent Hilton resort hotel, but at the time of my visit the pool at the Hilton was closed for major repairs (although the hot tub at the Hilton was open).
There are several different room types at this hotel. Members of my group have stayed in the king studio rooms (one king bed plus a sleeper sofa), the two room, two queen suite rooms (two queen beds in a separate bedroom plus a den/kitchen area with a queen sleeper sofa), and the three room, two bedroom suite (basically the two room queen suite plus a lock-off second bedroom with a king bed and another bathroom). I have not experienced any of the rooms in the outlying Casita buildings.
The hotel staff was very proactive in managing the multi-room reservation for my group so that our check-in and check-out experiences were effortless.
For you golfers out there - The golfing options in the Santa Fe/Albuquerque area are wonderful. The closest golf course is just outside your window (the Towa Boulder 9), and several excellent courses are between fifteen minutes and an hour's drive from the hotel.
I look forward to my next visit to the Homewood Suites - Santa Fe North.
