When I came to New Mexico, I never liked avocados or guacamole, but this place changed my mind! The servers will add extras to the freshly mashed avocados like green chile, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, lime juice and garlic. I tell them how much I like of the above and they make it to order.
Now that's just the start of my meal. The menu is the most Mexican (as opposed to New Mexican) in the Santa Fe area. However, the food is great, wherever the recipes came from.
Don't try to go without a reservation during Opera season or go late. We go to eat after we know the opera has started.
Outside dining in the summertime is highly recommended.
